Breaking News MR Orders 1-off Opening of A-9
President Mahinda Rajapakse's office said he instructed the authorities to open the A-9 highway to allow access to the Jaffna peninsula which is virtually under siege since August 11
But The army may block it with some lame excuse, we have to wait and see if poosari blocks what god allowed. |

Keep the religion aside. If there are so many killings in the name of Buddha why didn't we see any Tamil civillian murdered after the Dalada Maligawa Attack?

BTW Eelan, ML is a decent and fair chap. I don't think he means to hurt anybody, either sinhala or tamil, by what he says. |

Thanks for coming back on that point...
The reason I mentioned religion is because the sinhala leaders make so much about them being good budhists etc at every opportunity they get; when they are elected, when they go about their normal business etc....
Its fine to do that, but then the forces kill like in Vakarai, now in Vavuniya. Why dont they do the same thing monks and politician pray for peace.... they never do do they... this is why Tamils say all the attrocities are done in the name of budha.. i.e pretention to be a budhist peaceloving but reality is different........
Yes I never approve any civilian murders whether it was Dalada maligawa or anuradhapura...... |

Trucksload of food robbed in Colombo
Hundreds of Sri Lankans overran a government convoy of food trucks, seizing supplies meant for tens of thousands of displaced ethnic Tamils in the country's rebel-controlled east, witnesses and the rebels said.
More than 40,000 people displaced in August by fighting between government troops and Tamil Tiger rebels are living in schools and temporary shelters in the rebel-held village of Vakarai, in eastern Batticaloa district.
It's alleged that the army played a part in it.
