| Intelligence and effective commanders are more important than anything to counter LTTE. I think the Navy needs more assistance than any other force at the moment. The SLAF and SLN have to go on the offensive and Sri Lanka army takes a more defensing role. Army needs improve its covert operations capabilities and the role of the Army's Special Forces. |

Do you live in Rio de Janeiro? How did you get the chance to go there?
Not now but used to live there working for the Brazilian government on contract. Its a great place to be I was a few miles away from copacabana. Nice night life, must go there to feel the atmo.
But came to Lanka recently to settle some domestic issues.

SL military has already brought 4 MIG 27's and SLAF is interested in buying 8 FBC-1 bombers as well.
The bigger budget is also meant to help lanka buy some OPVs and perhaps make some locally.
Plus the SLA is stocking up on artillery shells and 122mm rockets to grill LTTE terrorist rats. |

I can see many sinhalas on this forum lately writing gibberish in some strange language.
I am sure it is due to the deathly fear that is gripping the sinhalas as the day of reckoning approaches.
I hear that diarrhoea pills have been sold out from chemists all over the South. I suggest wearing paper amudes from now until Nov 27.LOL |
