Facts are actual events that had happened, but it does not give a legitimacy or justification for the consequences of the facts. I do not know the level of your education to understand in depth philosophy but it appears that you got lost in translation akin to many, no disgrace, but there is room to improve and learn through dialogue.

My starting point is not here , but year 1505 for a discussion .
Magha, are the facts of post independence Sri lanka so shocking for you to discuss that you must jump back some 400 plus years?
I would agree it is indeed shocking to see the footage and hear the stories and have the facts presented. But those as you say are the facts. ANd while I welcome your invitation to begin your discussion at 1505 or 500 BC for that matter we need to examine the facts brought to light by this documentary.
If they are wrong then present your evidence.
If they are right then we, certainly not you nor I, have no right to tell the Tamil people what they should do and how they should do it after dealing with the murderous racist brutality and humiliation meted out by the post independent state.
SWRD and Senanayake before him tore what could have been a new nation into two and made two nations through discriminatory legislation, state repression and mob violence. Meanwhile you sit back and talk about Tamil Racism.

It is a waste of my time to retaliate your ignorance in many aspects including the standardization of University admission criteria of 1971 and subsequent changes of the criteria until 1975, and it's impact on both Singhalese living in Colombo as well as Tamils of Jaffna.
When you have some intelligent information which you can debate with me then we will have an intelligent discussion , otherwise I strongly advised to expel your methane gas developed as a result of over indulging Tamil hypocrisy in your own Toilet if you have such a facility not stinking the public. |

Do you deny the LTTE killings of Tamil politicians and atrocities on Singhales villagers not shown in this video to have an intelligent discussion in the first place? If somebody relies on few minutes of a video to define the ethnic problem of a country and come to an inference then that person is an absolute moron.
I have requested certain criteria to have an intelligent discussion ,and if those are met without wasting my time on replying to every Tom, Dick , Harry and other imbeciles trying to gamble their two pennies I will start the discussion .

The LTTE as you well know did not enter the scene till the 70's by then the damge had already been done.
Killing of civilians is wrong, even in a war.
I don't recall when you ever outright condemned the massacre or assisination of Tamil civilians by the GOSL in the past few months.
If you acknowledge 'the facts of post independent Sri Lanka' - the injustice and brutality meted out to Tamils - then should you not be discussing how best to redress these injustices and how to end the brutality? Instead what you offer is a constant stream of cynical vitriole directed at the whole Tamil nation. Is this how you wish to intelligently solve the problem? |

As I have always said Standardization according to media of Education for Science Faculty was brought to discriminate Tamils, and Standardization according to 100% district basis was to give preference to Sinhalese of up country, a clever attempt by Sirima and then Permanent secretary of Education which lasted from 1971 to 1975 .

This is one of the Tamils propaganda,they are making this up to compromise international community, so we as sri lankan know what happen and what is going on, Tamils are always saying Sinhalese kill this much Tamils they destroyed this property , can any body understand what Tamils did to our country for last 1000 years,??have they done any thing to Sinhalese or the country? apart from occupying & destroying it,

Tamils just cant blame only Sinhalese for this problem because they are the one who invade sri lanka thousand years ago, so we want our land back from them,
look now what happen, Tamils are using uneducated depressed poor tiger carders as their weapons most of the educated Tamils are behind this propaganda/genocide, they are using tigers as a tool to achieve their target and using tigers as puppets, tigers wont last long if there is no fundings,
Tamil nation want to expand their boundaries from tamildanu to jaffna, next step is tamilnadu will take power of eelam and no more sri lanka, Tamils are not going to stop here they will need all of it, so we need to be sensible and tack full,
