Perhaps I dont know well, but what is the relation between opening A9 and human shield?
Those villages are there even the road open or not...? Are these people are going away, if the A9 opens? |

| Buy a few ships and some dvora's and allot 5 to 6 dvoras to each ship to provide security. Problem sorted! Will be costly but this is wut GOSL has to do. If it cannot, open the highway with 1000 karuna cadres in Jaffna pennisula. All those LTTE guys entering will think twice! |

By closing down A9, people in Jaffna get trapped in huge numbers. Alterative routes won't serve them good. People may be transported by ship or air, but the number will be bare minimum. So there will always be people in big numbers trapped in the peninsula. This is what SLA want.
If A9 is open for public, the villagers nearby Muhamalai may vacate to either Vanni or south fearing conflicts, making it a no-man zone. That will be an advantage to the LTTE. SLA desperately want people to stay in those villages.
SLA can control public movement within the peninsula. That means the people may not be allowed to move to any other safer place within the peninsula. With curfew imposed during conflict times, people are not allowed to run even out of fear. I hope you know what I mean. |

The government's Defense Spokesman, Keheliya Rambukwella, has charged that the LTTE is using the 'Makkal Padai' to plant claymore mines and throw grenades against the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.
According to him, the LTTE is paying Makkal Padai members SL Rs 5,000 to SL Rs 15,000 depending on the damage wrought or the casualties inflicted by their grenades or claymore mines.
'The LTTE's rate card is very enticing for the young blood,' Rambukwella said.

Did you guys read the message about the Judge, who ruled against the North-eastern merger? He was praised by the Singhala racists JVP and JHU. This is how the Singhala Justice system works, the Supreme court Judge is bragging about his ruling against the Tamils with the racist elements of the country! Can Tamils expect any justice from the Singhala hooligans like this?
The Singhalese hijacked the International community with their 'war for peace 'blabbering, but now the International Community see the real, ugly and terrorist face of the Singhala Sorry Lanka.
The Singhalese even refused to give District board to Chelvanayakam, but now they are talking about maximum devolution to fool the International community. The IC wants the Federal republic of Sri Lanka and the LTTE or Tamils won't even look at anything less than a federal solution with right to self determination.
The panicked racist Singhalese are trying to give the Tamils pep talk now. I would say the Tamils should be more aware of the so called humanitarian Tamil loving Singhalese than the outright Sinhala Racists like AnuD, Vinivida types.
The fact is, the Singhala racism won't allow the Singhalese to give any substantial right to the Tamils. The Tamils shouldn't fall for Singhala pep talk. Tamil leaders from Sir Ramanathan to Chelvanayakam believed them and regretted in their death bed.
All these maximum devolution talk is to fool the Tamils and get the aid money from the western white countries. The Singhala Sri Lanka's begging bowl is drying faster, because the whites are not throwing any of their pocket change into that. The Singhalese cannot be trusted and we have learned that in a hard way.
Now the western countries are realizing the Singhala racism against the Tamils, we should used that good will for our advantage. The LTTE and Tamils should co operate with the westerners. We have to use the growing economic and voting power of the Tamil Diaspora in the rich western countries to our advantage like the Jews do. Remember, the strength of the state of Israel is not their weapons, but the unrelenting support of the American Jews. We have to be like the Jews of America.
My beloved Tamil brethren don't fall for Sansare's and his ilk's pep talk about maximum devolution under unitary Sri Lanka. The Singhalese never have and never will honour any agreements, it is not in their genes.
Do you know how Duttu Gemunu killed Ealara? He didn't kill him in real fight, he killed the brave old Tamil fighter Elara, while he was falling from the Elephant. That cunningness still run in the Singhala blood. LOL
