You are right but will SL GOV allow them to go to LTTE areas? in their eyes any body works in LTTE areas are LTTE supporters.

Its sad day for Sri Lankans, emotions will run hi in the coming few days, most of the Tamils will be angry with Sri Lankan Government and Singhalese people, it's up to others, not to provoke them and let them sorrow their losses. That's what they are asking from the majority for almost three decades now, let them live as equal human beings. Sooner the majority will understand the Tamils are equals, better the chances for the peace.

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL
PRESS RELEASE

Sri Lanka: Attack on displaced civilians must be investigated

At least 50 people have died and over 100 have been injured after an attack on a camp for internally displaced people in Batticaloa, Eastern Sri Lanka, according to Tamil Tiger sources. In response, Amnesty International's Asia Pacific Director Purna Sen said:

'It is appalling that the military should attack a camp for displaced people -- these are civilians who have already been forced from their homes because of the conflict.'

'We condemn all attacks on civilians and are particularly saddened and shocked to see such a large-scale attack on civilians just days after the government's announcement of its Commission of Inquiry into human rights abuses.'

'Killing and injuring civilians can never be justified. The government must investigate this terrible attack as a matter of urgency. It must ensure that those responsible are brought to justice to signal to the rest of the military that attacking civilians will not be tolerated
.'

100s of Tamil doctors are working in Europe and North America. Some of these folks should consider working 6month to 1 yr in NE. They can take leave from the current employer. LTTE should provide room and board while these specialists can provide adequate medical help.

it is not easy as any one could immagine, one should first join the INGO to be on the safe side !! so it takes more.,,,,,,,,,,

If the IC & Co chairs dont Deliver on the 20th then i guess the island will be facing full scale war.

we have spilled too much blood and as usual lets wait a few more weeks for the IC to see what they do. If not then put the plans to action. Lets put the economy in a coma for staters.

spread the Grief!

Guys
don't cry over the results of the war.War is killing.Anywhere in the world Even British or American forces don't want to kill innocents but it happens with the well known strategy of terrorists- hiding among civilians attacking the military forces.

Only solution to avoid this is to destroy terrorists at any cost.
