| Good that you realized Mennan that Prabakaran made you as a slave! Now ignore the ignorance! You may achieve light real soon but do not wait so long! You are not responsible for the ignorance of Prabakaran. Act now son! Come to the present instead of stuck in the past. I wish if people can hypnotize themselves so that Prabakran like a character may not exists who stuck in the past! |

Update to the BBC info:
Independent monitors who visited the scene confirm that many people were killed or injured. They say the attack seems to have come from army areas.
...
Ceasefire monitors from the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) say they have counted 23 bodies, and there could be many more.
'It seems a school where some internally-displaced people were residing has been hit in the attack,' an SLMM spokesperson said.
'We can confirm lots of people are dead,' the spokesperson said. 'The numbers are unclear, but initial reports show 50 to 60 people have been killed. The injured could number several hundred.'

Those who have fled from un-cleared areas to government controlled areas have revealed that the tigers have forcibly retained around 30,000 civilians as a human shield to attack the Security Forces. More than 580 people fled from un-cleared areas and entered government controlled areas during the last week.
The Security Forces repeatedly have revealed that tiger terrorists were using civilians as a human shield endangering their lives. Tiger cadres who surrendered recently from those camps in un-cleared areas revealed that the Tigers were deliberately planning to launch attacks on Security Forces with the support of newly recruited cadres while keeping civilians as a human shield.
This bit goes missing in all BBC reports... wonder why??? Edited By - FreeThinker - 8 Nov 2006 22:34:27 GMT |

| If we are to think healthily on the matter of peace why can't they come to table and tell each other, their true acceptable needs? We can see the tendency in Former Yugoslavian and Soviet Union territory to format new countries but no in Sri Lanka because the territory of Sri Lanka has its unique kind of validity to regional politics, to point out one reason, India will be the first opposition, they are afraid of Tamilnadu and reasons list goes on. If there are true needs to make peace, this is one of the finest times to propose, but both side as barbaric as it could be and decided to wait awhile, so every one can kill anther few hundreds of (if not few thousands) people.
What else can we see? Edited By - Saint - 8 Nov 2006 22:34:27 GMT |

Mennan,
Sinhala government did not give you the freedom! Sinhala government saved you from the hell of Prabakaran that you circled. Now it is up to you son to make yourself free to overcome the past and think free rather than try to go to Prabakaran and brainwash you and held in his mind prison! |

How did you come to a conclusion that LTTE leadership does not want peace?
How do you attain peace when you do not have a party to negotiate peace with?
GOSL does not know whether it is coming or going? GOSL is only a government on paper, it has no authority to come to an agreement on peace nor to implement an agreement that it has signed.
JR as executive president comes to an agreement to create one administrative area joining north east using the good office of India. (Courts have rejected) So not worth the paper written on.
LTTE provides a formula for negotiations ISGA, the govt don't want to negotiate nor are they capable of giving a counter proposal.
Chandrika comes to a agreement using the good office of Norway to help the Tamils P-Toms. (Courts rejected it)
Ranil as PM came to a few agreements through negotiations using the good office of the Co-chairs. Not a single adhered to.
So why are you blaming one side? |

Sri Lanka is unity of everyone and everyone has occupaiton of SRI LANKA. Therefore; if LTTTE is going opposite way so that will end for sure! Not the occupation of Sinhalese.
Government can only do is to save you not to free you! It is up to individual to free their minds and give up the weapons and live peacefully! |
