why not give federalism and see where LTTE is headed.
surely you dont need the LTTE written consent to change the DAMn constitution. do you even know why the constituion need to be changed.
i am sure Chami dopesnt.

There is nothing left if we start giving one piece to muslims, one piece to tamils, one piece to some other group. You all have to understand that SRI LANKA is not a prison. If Britains declared independence for every group at that time. Shall it remain as like that. LTTTE creating problems. Why cannot they drop the guns and live like normal people? It is not a reality to divide Sri Lanka, because if you see the size and the geography of the country you'll understand that, other people of the Sri Lanka will fight till the end of their lives to not to divide the country (even the Muslims).
We can see the tendency in Former Yugoslavian and Soviet Union territory to format new countries but not in Sri Lanka because the territory of Sri Lanka has its unique kind of validity to regional politics, to point out one reason, India will be the first opposition, they are afraid of Tamilnadu and reasons list goes on.

here is something i wrote 6 months ago. i posted this on another thread TODAY but here it is again.
why tamils eleceted MR
as i have said earlier RW even though a decent character doesnt have the clout to implement a solution. constitution and its 2/3 majority is in his way. exacutive presi might be in his way. supreme court and a whole bunch of non starters. he CANNOT pass a single piece of legislation without having a 2/3 majority and when it comes to the ethnic issue HE WILL NEVER EVER get that.
roughly 50% of the sinhalese voted for MR which means roughly that amount of people dont want a just and viable solution for the tamils (Federal setup). there goes the the 2/3 support. Why bother electing RW
He also has good international standing and chooses his words well. as a tamil i can sympathize with the issues faced by RW but frankly I cant help him. if we cant help him then as a tamil he is of no use to us. Get rid of him and put a hardliner in who his prepared to lie to his people within months (talks in Asia, CFA will be torn, NORWAY will be kicked out ) and we want the IC to know the real picture. MR WILL BE providing a solution to the tamils, either through his tough talking or lack of a long term vision. Either way we will take it.
abolish exec presi, change the constitution, get rid of the 2/3 majority if the country wants to move forward without any more blood being spilled. RW or MR will never do this. so tamils chose MR for reasons listed above.
The LTTE (tamils) are quite capable of dealing with any GOSL militarily or in the negotiating table. Chance of a foreign power landing is very remote and it will turn the whole island into a state of no return, Not good for the majority sinhalese too.
The only issue for the LTTE in the grand scheme of things is the opinion of the IC when it comes to recongnition. I am talking UDI here. This is where IC's input is going to count. and this is the ONLY reason MR was chosen to be the presi so that the IC would be able to understand his language which is in Black and White. what the Tigers want in Genava is for MR to say whether he can implement the CFA or not to the WORLD. |

You all have to understand that Prabakaran fools your minds and make sure that you does not fool yourself. He is using all of you as pawns and he stayed in the back. That is not a person would do if he really really likes the country or the land.
Say no! To Prabakaran's ideology of ghost land! He wants to kill people and use poor Thamilselvam as a pawn to fight for the past. That does not gain anything. Even signing the peace agreement, did LTTTE live clean wihtout killing people. No, broke in more than 13 times.
Peace agreement number 2 coming up when LTTTE weapons ran out.
Would you just let the poor tamil children go. They do not understand a bull about the war and LTTTE is using them? Pathetic! Is not it? |

Well, Noway is helping LTTTE to because Prabakaran promised to spread Catholisim. Tell me more about what Government Forces did so I can use a little program to translate what really happens by LTTTE software. That will translate everything from Tamil language to Sinhalese language which helps us to understand what LTTTE did and claim that government forces did. |
