The Senior Counsel for the petitioner told the court that his client does not request for costs. Hence the court waived the costs, granted in favour of Rambukwella.
The system seem to have forgotten the precedent of punishing the complaint and rewarding the defendant in this case.
In the process of waiving off the costs of the complaint it appears that the Judiciary has also denied State Costs to be recouped from the complaint.
He crossed over to the other party but the charges are vague!!
No wonder the the Head himself was with a vague idea of the most pressing problem in the country when he was elected and now Judiciary begin to see all obvious things as vague.
We, as a nation, are being led by a bunch of vague visionaries up the garden path to abyss.

Yay what would we do without our favorite idiot as spokesmonkey.
There must be something good that Rambukwella does to get the LTTE acrimony, so he's definitely not a spokesmonkey or to say the least a Bunker rat or even monkey as you put it.

| What a shame, the present jokers in the UNP cannot conduct a proper enquiry, dont these idiots 'Daya Pelpola etc' read the Party Constitution before taking action to expel a Member...this is not the first time, every attempt to expel a Member Crossing over has failed, 'Shame on you Mr. Ranil W.', please appoint learned people to conduct inhouse enquiries, not briefless people like Daya Pelpola. Choksy is too old....he was good 20 years ago. Mr. RW This why you are a failure always....Dont destroy this great party. |
