Saddam was a favored son of the West when he was killling Iraqi communists in the 70's and Iranians in the 80's.
The West never gave a damn about Shiites or Kurds or their suffering until Saddam stopped serving their geopolitical designs.
Let us not forget that this is the court of an invaders occupation regime. Where is the legitimacy? It is only the law of power. GW Bush is easily responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of IRaqis and Afghani's but where is his trial?
This is not real justice because it is not the IRaqi people that are trying the tyrant. The Iraqi people are suffering under the yoke of military occupation. |

My dear friend, a breath of fresh air from my Castro lover. We all know how the Americans try to do the dirty on Cubans in the 80s. Can anybody say 'no' to it? Thanks to the USSR Cuba survived to say the story now that USSR are gone and only a half-baked capitalist Russia begging for dollars from States and also the Eastern European doing the prostitution in the western Europe. Its right hell of mess mate.
Saddam and Bin Laden are both in similar group but who really wants to get rid of them? and why? who created them in the first place? No answers to these questions. It will remain unsolved as long as the men of 'In god we trust' take the reins and drives the world to oblivion in the name of terrorism.
I have heard Vasu has a given a good speech in a temple recently envisaging the importance of rallying round to diminish the acrimonius feelings in our society both Sinhalese and Tamils. Very rightly he is a man who has the potential to deliver if he's given a chance. But I guess who can let him in to do that? APC (all party conferences) are held but do we come to a common agenda? Lets not forget LTTE and JVP must be taken into the agenda to bring any meaningful solution. Because they have similar tactics who have come up or represented as the grievances of the soiceties various segments. WIthout addressing them we are not going anywhere. Bit like digging the grave further and further, no coming out of the mire.

A good question is who should shoot Prabha? A tamil, a muslim or a sinhalese?
I think the choice should go to a tamil. Because he destroyed tamils more than sinhalese and muslims. |
