Sadamm caught in a bunker, case continued for months, and still alive.
VP and MR, both will not fall into this category.
Death sentences have already been issued for both from respective opposite sides. Executions are waiting.
But, when we see how Rajiv and Premadasa executed,....
guess who will get who,....first!

These punishment is for planned killers who want to destroy a race, or involved in genocide or acts against humanity. But Certainly not for freedom fighters and those who defended their land from invaders, defended their people from being destroyed or who fought those who involved in genocide.
everyone have their reasons. even saddam had his reasons. in the end justice is meted out by the victor. but wanton mass murder is mass murder there is no other way to look at it my friend. let us not get in to this your mass murderer is better than my mass murderer rubbish. let children play that game |

All the Srilankan leaders are son of B, because in 1989 STF rape and killed their own sinhala girls. STF killed all the opposition party people. after the fredom of SL
nobody worked for the good for future of the country. Nobody is learning anything from the past. For the SL's present situation all the past and present leaders have to take responsibility. nobody ask for 'pirathesa sababa' in 1983's and the idiot brought it. it's suffering and it didn't solve any problem insted pirathesa sababa members and their gangs are filling their pockets. all the leaders of SL has to be brought infront of international courts and punished like sadam, because they misslead the country. |

For that matter all of us came from India and you can't deny that.
Regarding the negotiating table tell me who is sincerely prepared to have a dialog with the intention of resolving this problem.
Both sides are trying to out smart the other and so the problem is on both sides.
As it stands, lack of trust on both sides, may be one of the important obstacles.
If Majority think that all the citizens are equal then things may change, but will they? |

They may hang Saddam Hussein.
But, USA could have used Saddam for their advantage. NOw, what happens is, USA satisfy their ego. but, they lose Iraq. They won't get it back.
USA can not understand that Empires came and gone because of their own faults. |

If you apply logic then Tamil Nadu and Kerala coasts are more near to Lanka than Orissa or Bengal.
So it is obvious that the people from this region would have reached the shores of Lanka at a very much more earlier times than some one coming from far away places.
If one believes that Sinhala history starts with the arrival of Vijeya then naturally prior to that people from southern India would have already landed in Lanka.
And also prior to the arrival of Vijeya there were already people living in Lanka including well known Kuveni. We call them as Veddas now.
Of course there is history that relates to the existence of Nagas, Yakkshas, etc. in Lanka who were Dravidian stock long before the arrival of Vijeya.
But of course the current Sri Lankans are a blend of various groups but divided among themselves as Sinhalese and Tamils based on language, religion, culture and their geographical distribution but yet there are so much of commonness.
Up to Negombo on the Western cost the people though carry 'Sinhala' names are all Tamils and still they talk in Tamil at home though owing to political and other pressures they are slowly changing their habits for survival.
It is some what similar to the Muslims, vast majority are 'Tamil Muslims' from Southern India who adopted Islam and currently deny any 'connection to Tamils' again for survival.
So my pal who came here first will never be answered satisfactorily by any one because there is no such thing.
I have read mischievous Sinhalese books written to kids that say Tamils came from India and they are very dark in complexion!You mean to say Sinhalese are all fair? Look at our cricket team, they look more of Negroid than even Dravidians!
Vampiere3, I have seen you once when you were working in the surveyor department and you too very dark;a Dravidian?
So let us give up who came first story, it is like whether the egg or hen that came first.
The important thing is who will find peace to Lanka first and that is what important to all of us right now.
