Yes indeed. If citizens do not know how to consume democracy... and the freedom is misused to encourage terrorism...strikes, bottlenecks etc. the only option to control them is through divisions.
Unfortunately, there are still a good number of Sri Lankans who have no idea at all what are the dimensions of their rights, liberty, freedom, duties and responsibilities and the red lines...
Injuns, LTTE goons, Timbaktuans or Martians have not a chance in a trillion for adventures in Sri Lanka.

Last chance to solve national crisis - Ranil
LeN-Nov. 03,10.30am) Opposition UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday said political leadership of this country had only one more chance to solve the national crisis of the country.
Mr. Wickramasinghe who was the special guest at the opening of the Seema Malaka of Lenvara Rajamaha Vihara in Kossgoda, said it was essential to make use of this opportunity. 'It is time for all Sri Lankan?s to unite forgetting their differences
Mr. Wickremesinghe said solution to the national issue should be a one which was acceptable to all communities and the LTTE also had accepted this view. 'It is not possible to solve the problem through war and if it was possible, previous governments could have solved it that way,' he said.
Mr. Wickremesinghe stressed the need for preventing further hostilities between the government and the LTTE warning that such hostilities would be disastrous. Stating that there were groups who oppose a political solution he warned that nothing could be achieved if those elements created trouble in the country. |

Unknown variety of bomb found (Equivalent of 500 Kg of TNT)
Keep it in a safe place for future.
If any LTTE bombs kill civilians in the south, give the bomb to a rival armed Tamil group... preferably to be exploded in the middle of Jaffna vegetable market. |
