LTTE seeking re-opening of A9 for its own benefit - EPDP

The EPDP yesterday said that the pre-condition laid down by the LTTE, at the failed Geneva talks, that the A-9 Highway should be opened had an ulterior motive to rake in funds for their own use rather than for the welfare of the people using the highway.
`On the other hand the standing of the Government genuinely reflects its concern for the general public while foiling the LTTE of a financial build up at the expense of the people`, the EPDP said.
`The LTTE delegation should have tabled political solutions aimed at putting an end to the ongoing war which would automatically wipe out the day to day problems of the people. The need of the hour for the LTTE is to cooperate with the Government in every respect and honour the conditions laid down by it and allow hassle free use of the A-9, in the event it is re-opened,` the statement added.
The EPDP urged the LTTE to act sensibly, honourably and with responsibility to bring solace to all the people in this country.

Sure enough wanni terrorists and many obedient dogs will bad mouth this correct statement and right of openion!
All terrorist sites destroyed up to date through precision bombing in Tamil-only eelam are occupied solely of old women, infants and goats. The security forces and GOSL dont need to waste money on supersonic jets with missile guiding systems if they just want to kill a few civilians, they can do it better and cheaper with some artillery. The GOSL and Kfirs show they can distinguish between a hospital and a terrorist site. Better if Suppaiah was bombed along with the head-quartes, and it would again be the same song; a goat or a fake-smiling old woman!

| Fully agree with EPDP on this subject. Everything needs to be done to help the ordinary Tamils folks in the North while isolating the LTTE at the same time (who are still strong enough to dig their own grave, if they really wish to). |
