LTTE being some sorta agenda every time for peace talks, it was karuna earlier and now its A9, come on, why do you have to waste the time of urs, SL Govt officials time and Norway people's time. Just admit you dont need peace talks. |

if the A-9 closed , the next option to access it through AIR , it si not necessary to be Sri Lankan AIRLINE but could be better equipped Eelam Air Line .
Air is leaking now from Ealam Line now. So get prepared to live in a civilized Sri Lankan society. Sooner Prabakaran will be accessed through air. Ask him to clear trees around his garbage pit. |

| Only LTTE murderers know where and when they can blow this road to pieces, while government spending Sinhala labour and finances building and maintaining this road for the benefit of Tamil, like many infrastructure in Sri Lanka, which serve to all communities. |

Still our friends joking.
GOSL's Stand is very correct. the A9 is not only a road to jaffna but also tax pump of LTTE. now they are beating the drums ' humanitarian crises in Jaffna'
GOSL - don't open A9 till LTTE close their Custom Offices in Puliyankulam - |

The Indian reporter who wrote this article does not know that even long before these conflicts started the Sinhala government always wanted to separate the Tamils both from internally and externally.
For example from Batti a vehicle has to come all the way to Habarana, deep sinhala area before turning to go to Trinco or Jaffna. The cost, time and distance could be cut many fold if there is a straight motorable road between Batti and Trinco along th coast.
Same from Batti or Trinco to Jaffna. From Batti or Trinco a vehicle has to go all the way through Habarana or other sinhala areas before going to Jaffna. If there is a coastal road from Batti-Trinco-Jaffna one could imagine the savings in money, time and effort. But why this has not been done even 48 years after Independence?
How could one explain this phenomena? This is the strategy to have a strangle hold on the Tamil community. A little anger for our natives and the Tamil vehicles passing through between Batti/Trinco/Jaffna are at their mercy.
The funniest thing is there are people who talk of Sinhala reforms since of late to improve the quality of life of the Tamils. One intellect croons that Brian Seneviratne is ignorant of the Sinhala generosity toward the Tamils |

Friends,
You may want to have a look at a relevant link on another blog.
Over 200,000 in Jaffna deprived of phone service now for two months

I wonder why nobody brought this issue at LNP for all these days. |
