I am doing good. Not much time to come everyday as I used to do. My daughter is fine, I am not trying to influence on her phone conversations. Malli, you know when young people get on phone they talk numerous things and I let that continue as I know how that feels.
You mentioned about state terrorism. We have seen many faces of this in many different periods. In 1971 and in 89 it worked to crush the JVP uprising. I don't deny that. These are tactics of the state in power. Whoever comes to power it stays in one way or another.
The fact of the matter is many political wings use this for their personal benefits and that is no secret. From time to time it takes different colours like the change in colours of the good old chameleone.
Mahinda came to power on the back of the JVP support and for his survival he kicked them and embrace the UNP. After all one has to realise this is not the first time these things happen. From the history of politics since 1948 this took place. Malli, I would not be surprised if Prabha is given a higher rank this whole thing stops abruptly. As things change this is not surprising too. But the bottom line is by silencing Prabha is not the end of tamil problems, its just one part of it. The whole country needs a makeover to come out of the poverty problem. You can see no one bothers about Prabha or anyone, but struggling to live daily.
As I am living in SL, the situation seems more evident that political mileage is working at its best. In this juncture the losers are the poor voters who voted either for Mahinda or Ranil.
