Pachaya

It is because of this open economy that SL is slowly transforming from an agriculture economy to a manufacturing economy.

It is also the reason why SL has a fairly large standing military force.

Its not fair for all other LTTE supporters to get stuck in wanni, when this tamil chelvam guy is going to europe and see the world outside wanni.

you see.. this is the fact... tamils in north and east are forced to take weapons and kill sinhala people and get themselves killed in the process while most of the LTTE seniors enjoy a luxurious life in europe and elsewhere

Government and LTTE set different agendas for peace talks

the govt knew that it has lost it's ground that stood on long time back.
so
1)it will always come with something right opposite to ltte's agenda.
2)it will never come with any final solution,
3)it will never accept any proposal from ltte,
4)it will always cry foul at the other party when try to propose any.
5)it will always blame others for the problem,
6)it will always portray ltte as a samll problem,
7)it will always deny any wrong doing to the tamils,
8)it will always say the arms struggle is a fake,
9_it will always say there is no grievances for the Tamils to pick up arms .
10) it will always say Tamils are imported from India to work in the uphill, thats including the Tamils of north and east.

so please do not expect a miracle from these talks. in ltte's point of view ,these talks are only just to emphasize that the gosl is not honest in sorting the burning issue.

GOSL should concentrate on building the country and must reduce dependancy on foreign aids.

Eventually LTTE vanishes as the country go forward.

NOw, GOSL should stop the war. Instead build a SLA barrier around Wanni. Keep the A9 closed.

Priyanthy sis!
Many Sinhalese of this forum want to find
military solution. Because their kids and kindred
are safety at their places. No fear of death,
no displacement. they are in total protection.
These people never bothered about the suffering of
Tamil ordinary people. What a egoism.

Grey Fox,

'Disguised CIA strategies'? What does that mean?

People like Kumar Rupasinghe, Rajitha Seneviratne and Vasudeva (the Red UNPers) are part of that parcel who come as peace birds for the NGO money is a good clue of my observation. These peace birds dance to the dollars but have no feeling for the country's territorial integrity.

I am not against peace, but giving into terrorism is not peace, its what you call pseudo peace and this is what happened since we got the country from 1977. JRJ, RW, CBK and now Mahinda following the same method.

We would not need pseudo economy but a sound economy. I remember the interests were given high as 22% for money deposited in the 80s shows how much the economy being used as a playing partner for the pseudo capitalists in a third world country. As a result of that Prabhakarans were created and money was pumped in to terrorism for which we still pay.

Keep the A9 closed.

Do you want to massacre total tamil population?
If you are really for all people of SL, open another way
road and send food and medicine for their immediate
needs.

Tigress91:

Hi looser,

You LTTE are the people who demanded and acted indecently.
It is a clear fact that eealm is a sweet dream of few Lankan Tamils living in western countries.. And Jungles.

If you want to solve the issue, tell your proposal first.

Pachaya aiya,

how are you. how is the family. daughter still on the phone !

another member wrote this

JVP had yesterday issued a statement saying that the MoU between SLFP and UNP include the term 'ANY KIND OF TERRORISM' instead of the term 'SEPARATIST TIGER TERRORISM'.

So according to JVP, the first term can be applied even for the STATE TERRORSIM and TERRORISM OF KARUNA GROUP. JVP is not happy about it.

By making this statement, JVP admits that there is something called STATE TERRORISM and that falls within the term 'any kind of terrorism'. So JVP has officially acknowledged the STATE TERRORISM.

do you agree with the views expressed here. is there a chance of a JVP uprising in the south. whats yur take on it. will you support it.
