I thought fannybush was a decent sort of woman who wouldn't resort to name calling. But thurokis are protected and defended by the enemy vigorously and this is a good example of that fact.

yes TQN,

but yes thats an excellent point. even decent folks when they see a way to put down the tamils take the opportunity.

its good that pumpkin in vulgar!! its gives me unfettered access just the way i like it :):)

TQN the talks are basically to please the IC as we march!
I'll be back later.

The Sri Lankan High Commission in the UK has taken Dumeetha Luthra, the Colombo based correspondent for BBC, to task over, what a senior official termed as, unashamedly biased reporting in favour of the LTTE. High Commissioner in the UK Ms Kshenuka Senewiratne recently brought this to the notice of Ms Rita Payne, Editor-Asia Today and Richard Porter, Head of BBC World Service. The Foreign Ministry directed the High Commissioner to raise this issue due to fears that Luthra?s reporting could have a detrimental impact on the tourist industry.

Third grade reporter going places and getting promotion because of emotions of Sri Lankans.

BBC is notoroius for not only this... but also for instilling communal hatred among Sinhalas, Tamils and Muslims. Sri Lankans, grow up and defeat the agneda of these foreigners.

Hey Vini,

Do you think the BBC is controlled by Mahinda? He has gagged the press in Sri Lanka and you are talking about a free and truly democratic country, the United Kingdom.

The BBC is not going to take the complaints of a little insignificant failed state's representative seriously. You do stay silent when the BBC repeats, parrot like, the MOD lies about LTTE casualties and other news favourable to you.

The High commissioner's letter of complaint would have gone straight in the bin. The whole tourist industry all over the west knows that the attack on Galle harbour was intended to frighten the tourists away and the LTTE has achieved it without the BBC's help. Just live with bad news. You can't always get good news pal.

BBC tried this in Singapore, Maldives, Malaysia and miserably failed...

If we have the willpower we can also control what the foreigners to within our borders...

Leadership, my dear, Raves... leadership... that will do the trick... even in the tiniest country....That's what we need... Leaders have to look beyond their bellies...

And believe... we have them among us... Have hope... it's only a matter of time...

Revy

Are you playing with yourself while typing?

Dude before commenting on anything, LEARN TO READ, you were responding to RAVES, that is a R followed by and A by a V and an E and S.

I am REVY -- see other than starting with an R quite different.
