Talks sans solution a waste of time, Sangaree tells Akashi

TULF leader V. Ananadasangaree in a letter addressed to Japanese Peace envoy Yasushi Akashi said having talks with the LTTE without a reasonable solution will be a mere waste of time and only help the LTTE to strengthen itself.
He said the LTTE agenda is still a separate state of tamil Eelam and that it was adopting all kinds of tactics to achieve this goal.
In his letter to the envoy Sangaree said the LTTE should be told clearly that separation will not be tolerated by the International community,the Indian Government and people of Sri Lanka.`The LTTE should be advised to seek other options,giving up their demand for separation.
He said`Tamils in particular who had tasted the bitterness of their autocratic rule and ruthlessness with which they were dealt within the territories under their control,will never agree to come under their domain.`
`I have on a number of occasions brought to the notice of the International community and the Sri Lankan Government about the sufferings of the people in the LTTE held areas.There are torture camps, dark room chambers,abductions, conscriptions and killings taking place.
He said the outside world did not know anything about the happenings in the LTTE held areas.
Sangaree in the latter states that the tamils in the LTTE controlled areas are hoping that the outcome of the talks will free them from their bondage.
The letter states: `I appreciate the untiring efforts of the Co-Chairs to bring back Peace to our Country and to find a permanent solution for our ethnic problem that remains unsolved for the past fifty years. Without a solution, reasonable and acceptable to the minorities, there cannot be permanent Peace.
In my view the trouble the Co-Chairs take should not draw a blank at the end of the day. Your Excellency had undertaken 13 visits to Sri Lanka on this mission.
We are not unaware of the embarrassment you and some other Members of the Co-Chairs faced and the unkind words hurled against some of you. But we hope that such incidents will not deter the Co-Chairs from moving further into the matter.
I assure you, Your Excellency and through you to the other Co-Chairs that the people of this Country, yearning for Peace, are with you and are fully appreciative of your untiring efforts. The people of this Country are prepared to make any sacrifice to achieve permanent Peace.
The success of your Mission will save thousands of lives on both sides and billions worth of private and public property. It will also ease several years of fear and tension with which the people live, some afraid of the war and the others, fear for the lives of their kith and kin who are in the battle front.
It is my duty to bring to the notice of the Co-Chairs through you, certain matters that I consider as relevant to your mission. In spite of the repeated declarations by the International Community that a solution for the ethnic problem should be found within a United Sri Lanka and also in accordance with the Oslo and Tokyo agreements, the LTTE`s agenda still is a separate State of Tamil Eelam.
They are adopting all types of tactics to achieve their goal. Provoking the Army to attack the civilians and to start the war is also a part of their strategy. Therefore the LTTE should be told, clearly that separation will not be tolerated by the International Community, the Indian Government and the people of Sri Lanka.
The LTTE should be advised to seek other options, giving up their demand for separation. The Tamils in particular who had tasted the bitterness of their autocratic rule and the ruthlessness, with which they dealt with the Tamil people within the territories under their control, will never agree to come under their domain. The Muslims unreasonably driven out of the North with all their possessions confiscated should be resettled in their respective homes in the North.
At the same-time the Government too must make it very clear now itself that it will not strike a deal with the LTTE to hand over a part of the territory either in the North or in the East for the LTTE to rule. Many Tamils and Muslims have this fear since they are aware of such deals negotiated with the LTTE in the past.
Another important factor, not at all considered at any of the previous talk with the LTTE, is about the fate of those who live under the iron clutches of the LTTE in areas under their control. I have on a number of occasions brought to the notice of the International Community and the Sri Lankan Government about the sufferings of the people in the LTTE held areas.

Ananda sangaree should realise he is only used for his Anti LTTE stands , nothing else , he been crying Tamils cannot accept anything less than a Indian style fedaral system will fall on deaf ears.
he must realise one thing
he was promoted by sinhalese for his anti LTTE stand. ( they only interested in that)
he is promoted to take his life on chosen time by state ( just like ketheswaran) ketheswaran was killed by sinahala politicians to divert the army killing of 12 aid workers.
Anandasanagree was promoted to slauter.
sooner he realise that better.
what the hell he talking about LTTe iron curtain? i have travelled to srilanka,vanni,colombo,jaffna,trincomalee. but tamils in LTTE control area are the only one live in peace. there is no critisim of any LTTE policy ,here and there people complain about tax , all over the world people compalain about tax. and the tax created over 10,000 jobs. and investments in the tiger land.
that is what government wanted to stop.
government dont want any economic improvement in tamil area.
this is why
Fishing ban
High security zones to tamils farmers land
high military presence, intimidation by army on every street and corners.
robing , steeling by state forces.
in LTTe control area , you dont even see a gun. people do go on their life normal .
over 15,000 jobs are created by this LTTE tax system , and government cannot accept any improvement to tamils that is why the A9 closed.
but i heard people are doing farming in their own land and learning to live without anything from south.
only the army control area people are suffering the most,they cant do farming because of HSZ, they cant do fishing because of fishing ban. NGO was the only source providing job opotunities now they alo been pushed out. to make tamils stave to death.
it is nothing but genocide.
it will make people to fight more. and people like as(s) angree, karuna,dogClass and tamils should realise this.
it is state killing tamils using you lot and no wonder they will finish you when they want it just like they did to Kathikamar ( when he started talking about devolution he was send out)
as angree should re read his letter and see what is the need to critisis 70% of the letter accusing LTTE , Tamils are confident LTTE will unite all tamils when the solution comes.
let me remind those Dogclass and other sick tamils.

Talks are for the purpose to inspect tamil Chelvams palms..
It is reported that parts of his fingers have been cut off or blown off recently......
As such, not only his Prodent teeth that will be on show but will have to show off his (10) fingers as well........ |

Mr. Sangaree ,it is not going to happen this time. Either LTTE will have to accept the deal GOSL will bring through all party consensus they reach or succumb to their own Terrorism .

Mr. Anandasangaree got the reply from THAMBI for his letter. Thambi explained the game that LTTE is playing.
Now, Mr. Sangaree knows what TUNE the LTTE is playing and he is giving the right RHYTHEM.
He says ' Still the EELAm is their objective. Because of that give them a solution' I am 100% sure that Mr. AnandaSangaree does not like EELAM for tamils and he wants only the federal solution. He does not mind his CRIMINAL CHILD IS killing only the neighbour and nothing happens to us. |

So this was why Indians promoted the UN Peace prize for Mr. Anandasangaree!! He has become their spokesperson. But he does not have the authority to speak for the International Tamil Community that has gone through its own pain due to this conflict. THAT is the most powerful group in this whole issue.

Either LTTE will have to accept the deal GOSL will bring through all party consensus they reach or succumb to their own Terrorism .

can you pls. prove that Sangaree is well liked by the Tamils , give us proof. Just because he is coniving with the government for his own safety doesn't mean that he is for tamils.
His own son lives in Canada and he is a strong activist does not follow his father's footsteps.
Sangaree,Dougy, Karuna can never will be trusted or respected by the tamils. Even if the tigers are destroyed or defeated still these turncoats will not be able to go outside without their sinhala Bodyguards and its a fact. |
