This is very true. The GOSL is increasingly being viewed as a dangerous destabilizing force in the region. We musn't forget the position of India. The current posture of the IC including India is that they do not wish to see a partition of the island but they want a negotiated poltical settlement with substantial devolution in the Tamil areas. But the GOSL under MR is trying its best to make partition happen. The MR regime is dangerously delusional surrounding itself with 'yes men' and silencing dissent and free expression. That is the recipe for military disaster. Of course this is good news for the LTTE. We may see foreign troops on SL soil thanks to the 'patriotic' MR regime.
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. The Sinhala extremists are not patriots at all they don't value the lives of the village boys that they call upon to fight their racist wars. For them there is always a hundred more servants to fight their wars. That is why terrorizing the press and stifling opposition is very important for the racist extremists. If the ordinary Sinhalese could see what is really going on the GOSL would have to pack up and join their masters in the IC. That day will come. |

I have been reading your posts and you are a true sinhalese brother. This war has achieved nothing so far except for distruction. I too feel that tamil people should be allowed to decide for themselves. Our govt. is basically following the orders from their capitalist masters. They want to divide and rule while multinational companies suck the hard labor of SriLanka for pennies.
I am with you. It is time we rise up and tell the govt that they cannot stop eelam. Let tamil people decide for themselves. We have no right to their homeland. Demarcate the tamil homeland and call the rest Sri Lanka. Eelam can be Sri Lanka's best friend and perhaps the movement will flow south to topple the imperialists. Maybe one day president of SriLanka and President Prabakaran can have bilateral meeting over a cup of tea. We will have long lasting peace.

Galle Police arrested only Vanni LTTE terrorists. there is another LTTE called East LTTE. they are the people fighting with Vanni LTTE. all the parts of the East is under East LTTE. Everybody knows even international monitors that col. Karuna is the leader of East LTTE. So read some papers then you might know
From where does it fall this one ?
Man if you are not in current, there is only ONE LTTE stream.
Wake up, Karuna is paid by GOSL to kill his brothers. |

Yes, both LTTE and SLG has been at this for a long time now. War must stop. There is nothing wrong for asking for selfrule. Sinhala racists are responsible for the plight of the tamil community and the rest of the country. MR and his gang should be held responsible for all these lost lives. It is time to move forward as two separate countries.
Good news is that there are plenty of people like me and Vimukthi among us.

Dear Yoda, thank you. I for one am not for partition. However I agree that this is not for me to decide but for the Tamil people to decide. If the GOSL keeps up its butchery how can anyone tell them not to defend themselves or create a separate state. It may already be too late for a solution within a united SL. The racists have done thier best to push our Tamil brethren away from us in every sense. Already two nations exist on the island. Only one is ot yet declared as a state. It may indeed happen. I would love to see a united democratic country with real equality enshrined in the law and in practise for all nations that inhabit the land. But the tribal barbarians think that you can beat your wife into submission to keep her from leaving. But I like your openness and true Sinhala nature which is to offer compassion and frienship to the world. |
