i can undersatnd your feelings and belive me this is the KIND of feeling I have too when Kfirs let loose from 1000s of ft above.
just after KIA there was a fallout. although not in that level there will be a fallout from this. the economy is the one that doesnt allow the GOSL to talk peace. Can you TELL me why in 2000 GOSL didnt want a CF and an yr later THEy accepted it.
when countries put advisories citizens take it seriously.
as i pointed out in my earliar post the attack itself has OTHER significances.
there is also a report that some of the Black tigers have escaped. (Pathivu.com says so) |

In Bali, there were 2 bombings specially targetting the Australians.. But still hundreds of Australians go there to enjoy the time..
If you think you can kill the spirits of Sri Lankans by ltte attacks, you are gretly mistaken...People will always prevail....

I think, this is the hardest way to come to Galle for Black Tigers,..in fact, I think there are enough BTs in Colombo,..they are waiting from VP to act,...
This Habarana and Galle was a single plan...not 2.

Just prior to the attempt on Gen Fonseka's life, LTTE thought they had a good scheme going .. There was a so called CFA 'on' .. but the LTTE thought nothing of killing and maiming 5-10 SLA or Police-men, on a daily basis - by exploding claymore fragmentation bombs
Don't forget the small matter of the GOSL's use of paramilitaries to attack the LTTE and Tamil civilians on a daily basis.
MR came to power with a the stated goal of imposing a military solution. He first started by using Karuna and EPDP and military DPU to carry out attacks in order to provoke retaliation. Soldiers payed the price for these para attacks. MR did win the banning of the LTTE by the EU and he happily used this international shift against the LTTE to carry out his original and intended military solution. |

| TCK, if I say that this incident would not have any impact on the economy, then that is not true. But people has learned to live with these incidents and as malaviru says Bali is a good example. That situation is same all over the world, people were traveling on London Tubes on the next day after the attack. When a journalist asked one guy said if we don't travel then terrorists wins. LTTE are terrorists and they can do what they want specially using suicide bombers, brainwashed innocent people. Very little any country can do about that. |

see this is the problem. for you they are terrorists for me they are freedom fighters.
for you GOSl is a legit govt, for me they are a state that sponsors terror!
its as simple as that. Rather than calling names its better to sit down and work this out. The Tigers and the GOSl were equal partners (NOthing more Nothing LESS) when the signed the agreement.
the question i asked in my previous post (In quotes) is the reason why they are treated As EQUAL partners.
