As a summary,
today's attack is a dis advantage for the ltte.
B Cos,
1. they failed in the attack. - a minor loss
2. they loose the people in south who are for a peaceful solution - this is a major draw back for ltte
3. sl govt earn points for attacking ltte main points in N/E, even for bombing and destroying. - a major loss
THIS IS A GREAT LOSS FOR LTTE AFTER ITS WINNIGS AT MUHAMALEI AND HABARANA.
have a good time for all sri lankans,
to a peaceful country,
to get rid of ltte terrorists. |

The gun fighting still under way. According to the Navy sources over 15 LTTE sea tigers are attaching to the terrorist attack. This LTTE Tamil Terrorist attack took place around 7.36AM - 7.45AM in the morning. Naval troops are retaliating LTTE the attack and the fire exchange is still going on.
One Navy soldier dead, another One is missing and 12 injured Soldiers and 14 civilians were admitted to the Karapitiya teaching hospital.
According to the Navy sources at around 7.36AM in the morning 5 LTTE suicide gun boats were attacked to the Navel base, and the Navy Destroyed three suicide boats and the other two approached towards the GALLE harbour self detonating at the entrance. STF, Navy and Army are retaliating.
When contacting Jayantha Gamage, the D.I.G of the southern province said the Colombo - Galle Road has been closed now for the security reasons and the Gall City area is now under the police curfew.
According to SinhalaNet sources from the Fishermen in Ampare, Panama area said , they observed 6 LTTE boats with full of Oil Barrels, yesterday were tripped towards the southern coast, and they immediately informed it to Security Forces in the Area.
The fishermen said, they observed these 6 LTTE boats were tripped 3 after 3 towards Kirinda, and it is revealed these boats are the attacking boats to the Galle Navel base area which came through Kirinda, Hambanthota, Matara coastal as fisheries boats.

BBC repported that the small Tamil community living in Galle has been atatcked by mobs and the govt imposed cerfew to calm the situation,
This MOBS must be shpt at sight to supporting VP s agenda,
When things like this happen, how can we say the tamils are living happliy with us..in the south
