Yes, you are correct. After all, Sinhalese are the majority of Sri Lanka and must practice a great tolerance to deal with minority issues.

What can I say. Tigers exploit our weakness. We still transport soldiers like cattle. Transit point with 100's of troopers is open to lorries. Who in the right mind would allow something like that. We never learn. We are vulnerable to terrorist attacks like these unless we take extra precautions on troop transport and other logistics. Make sure food and water supply is not vulnerable to unconventional attacks. When you attack a tiger, don't attack the tail. You got to go for the head. Otherwise, leave the tiger alone.

Breaking News:
Tigers have inflitrated the international airport and took off a Kfir plane and was shot down by srilankan airfoce. Pilot was ejected off Negambo and took a bus and gone to colombo to further assignement.
for safety reason Kfirs are stoned at anurathapura , but Maahinda wanted to take a picture with Kfir ( showing tamils he is the ordered the killing of tamil children)
there is also conflicting report
it was airforce that flew the flight when the flight fell off. it was said it is possible mahida had presed the buttons which may have caused for this crash. |

There is a war. LTTE had been fighting against the GOSL FOR 25 YEARS bringing hardship to Tamils. Forces of GOSL destroy LTTE and LTTE does the same. So this is nothing in a war. The question is Who are the losers? Looses are None other than Tamils them selves.
The supreme court had ruled against the merger of North and East. They said that merger of North and East was unconstitutional.
Today we have the constitutional right to fight against not only Terrorism but also any attempt to merge North and East.
With the escalating war and enough of Tamils to display their thousands of years of inherited racism by financing LTTE terrorism because they could not as a minority rule Singhalese the majority like in South Africa, more and more suffering is destined for the Tamils living in The North and East who quest nothing but peace.
Within a matter of few days close to 250 Singhalese soldiers died as a direct result of Terrorism. Looks like this is close to LTTE loss which they deny. So GOSL should do better to get a valid head count of LTTE . So keep a target of at least 500 LTTE including an LTTE hierarchy before the Talks, if it is going to happen. Other wise just continue aerial bombardment . |
