IF TAMILS are really concerned about civilian casualties, then tell the LTTE to give up irregular warfare and come face to face to fight.
Until then civillian casualties don't mean much.

Last I checked there is a huge chunk of land in the NE liberated by the LTTE, why can't your forces take it back if the LTTE are only using 'irregular' warfare?
You got to see just how 'irregular' their warfare was at Muhamalai, seemed pretty much like a very conventional pincer followed by a very conventional hail of artillery for the better part of the day.
BTW go read you MoD report again, they say they hit a tiger base, does that sound irregular to you too? If it was a base there would have been no civilians there savvy? As usual your government is lying, that is all they are good at. |

If the SLA uses it superior firepower generously and unchecked the LTTE and their supporters will be toast.

they are provoking a lot of retaliation from the LTTE, and this harms the Sri Lankan economy, and repels foreign investors
