If this has happened 25 years ago, there would have been racial tensions. But today Sri Lanka is different, People are different.
Even though this a clear act of revenge on the part of the LTTE leadership against the Sri Lanka Navy. And the fact that LTTE leadership would love see another tamil-sinhala racial tensions. People should not react and act against our fellow Tamil citizens. Likewise govt. of SL should act wise in this hour and attain to the needs of the injured Sri Lanka Navy personnel. Some of the members in this forum are 'happy' for the fact that more than 98 Sri Lankan Navy personnel got killed by a suicide bomb. But they have to understand the fact that many in Sri Lanka have the at most respect of Sri Lanka's defence forces. There is no to protect them against the LTTE.
Having said that is LTTE going to be responsible for any consequences of their actions? |

now LTTE had given the opotunity for families to morn with dead bodies
we tamils are not killer. it is sinhalese that killed 100,000 tamils and made 1,000,000 one third of tamils to leave the country and made another 1,000,000 to displace internally .
why big fuss for 100 criminals deaths.
those 100 would have commit so much crimes in the next four five days if they were alive. they dead for good. |
