well if your not going to comment you should not be saying it in the first place..
well you told me the same thing when mavilaru battle
I would have never said anything about Mavilaru battle..I am not a great fan of local medias or Tamilnet, so may be i would have said to wait & see, That means for the TRUTH.
now I heard even JHU is visiting the place.
what does that mean? who said JHU can't visit the place!!

Hi Sansare bro,
Taking the responsibility is a very dangerous game in all developing countries.
I suppose this is the better reality. However, the GOSL could have been more diplomatic by not totally dismissing the allegation and becoming liars. They could have easily said that we are investigating.
I know, we cant get-rid by telling like that, but that's the world.
In the war time, you have to look for your own safety too.
Only we can expect is not to see a 2nd event like this.
True; on the other hand, a legitimate Govt. has to act more responsibly. Only by bringing the perpetrators to justice you can stop the repetition. Otherwise they are encouraging the state agencies to act with impunity which is very dangerous for the country and its unity. |

Yes, agree. But (always we have BUTs, hi), unfortunately we can expect similar incidents in the field again and again.
War is a ugly thing and ugly things are happening there.
Yes, I always maintain this, government must protect all Sri Lankans. |

Sansare Bro
1. Dont insult religions
2. Dont insult ethnic groups
3. Dont insult forum individuals with ugly words
Absolutely RIGHT!
Kula--u do have a point..it is between WAR and PEACE..the problem right now is different..people in colombo and south think the GoSl and its forces are holding the upper hand since the information they receive from the local Media is sweet to their ears..what they expect is very simple..They want WAR and they want it to continue..
Look at this forum..if you get a thread that says the troops are gaining ground and recaptured areas people here wants the SL forces to continue the attack and not to stop it.. Edited By - Berty - 12 Oct 2006 07:24:16 GMT |

Chandana malli,
because they never stop saying racist remarks to sinhalays/thamilans and even going to the extent of discriminating religions and even parents.
This forum is like a good sample of Sri Lanka.
You will have all, 'Sangatop', Alahodi', 'Kaum', 'Kokis', and even 'Jonny-butto'!
But, its a good place to learn, if you have TIME! |
