This story is bit agree with my wild guess about the photos.
Berty bro, worth to read this and also see the photos together.
Anyway, its a victory of LTTE, how they killed is another issue, if the story is correct.

what a shame they are now saying LTTE's brutal act would follow..The Sl forces made the mistake of going in and they got massacred and why wait for Brutal acts to follow..they could have easily avoided these incidents by keeping quiet

You obviously didn't get my drift here. I didn't say it wasn't an SLA tank but was thinking whether it was a picture from a past battle, possibly from the eastern thetre. A comment on those lines would have been more helpful...

Yes, the attack was not needed when the talk dates were finalized.
But, have a look of photos, you can read more in those photos.
Have a look, change the last number before .jpg
I think, as SLA says, about 80 went deep inside and got caought....
Its that simple.
If they killed in FDL, bodies are greatly damage, as fire is heavy there.

i couldn't comment on the actual location..looks like a road leading to Elephant pass to me..
may be it was an old picture..i am not a fan of local media or tamilnet or pics..rem those killed and half naked women's pics on sinhalnet..same feeling bro..
