Hi Berty
Just popped up to see you are having a whale of a time in the forum, sorry I cant join you due to work.
This is what I think, all human beings are born equal, any successfull society should approach life from this point of view.
All the other theories are methods of man trying to dominate each other by silly excuses.
LTTE came into being because of this kind of ignorant behavious by the sinhala leaders not the sinhala prople; but they are easily lead though.
Now Yeasterday was LTTes reply to all the critics, I am not happy about any lives lost, but sinhala aggression has to stop, how else do we achieve it???? |

not good to work like this..u need some time to play too..Good to see you and hope you and your family are doing fine..
I agree with u..if the war is between LTTE and the Govt forces then there will be a huge price to pay by both sides..i felt this fight was a stupid aggression by the forces ..the worst thing is we all knew 2 days ago that the GoSl wants Elephant Pass before they go for the talks..and LTTE knew they are coming and that was so stupid..even special force gave us information a day or two in advance..how stupid one can get my friend..
These sinhala boys who are getting killed are basically being sacrificed by the stupid govt..Pathetic planning..Fonseka is on a personal revenge path but he is no where close to these places.. |

Unfortunately I have to agree with Godcube here.
That is the only Choice you have pal...I do not think they have inflicted any major damage to the LTTE..do remember every single soldier who gets killed has a family back home somewhere in south or up country..There will be someone who will be sheding tears and cursing the govt for what they did to their kids..
This move was so badly planned and it was never called for..the talks were fixed for the 28th and what is the hurry..!! |

Missing Soldiers Had Valiantly Fought To Counter The Threat To FDL: Tigers Commit The Most Brutal Act In The History

JAFFNA: ONE INFANTRY COMPANY TASKED TO NEUTRALIZE a tiger strong point where the tigers were massing troops to launch a harassing attack on troops ahead of the Security Forces? FDL at MUHAMALAI during the retaliatory attacks had been brutally murdered by the tigers after being captured alive yesterday (11) violating all norms and regulations of the Human Rights in the Geneva Convention.
The Security Force sources did not divulge the whereabouts and the endeavors of the Company in destroying the tiger?s forming up place for their offensives against the Security Forces with the intention of maintaining secrecy.
As per soldiers of the same company who had returned after fighting valiantly in the mission exposed that tigers surrounded the company whilst fighting and captured some members alive and taken them to their controlled areas.
Meanwhile, tigers had indicated that they are in the process of handing over 75 dead bodies of Security Forces personnel through the ICRC.
As per Defence sources 78 soldiers had gone missing in this incident.
The previously fabricated stories by the tigers clearly indicate that they were trying to cover up the inhumane act by some of their cadres and to tarnish the image of the Security Forces.
The casualty figures of the Security Forces had risen to 55 soldiers making the supreme sacrifice and 283 soldiers receiving injuries.
Of the minor casualties being treated at PALALY Military Hospital many had returned to their units and some are still being treated there.
Further details of the tigers? brutal act would follow.

When I see these photos, if we only talk about the war, I feel these boys were trapped by some sort of smart intelligent work of LTTE (inside job of SLA).
They killed in not in the battlefield?
Perhaps, bit far away in to LTTE area from FDL.

Brother..do you know we spoke about it in this very forum a day or two ago..(if you have the chance of specialforce postings you will know too) that the Forces were moving weapons in jaffna and the Elephant will be captured before the peace talks..why do you want anyone to tell LTTE, the whole world knew their plan..and they were crucified..is this actually neccessary..no it was not..the date for peace talks were fixed..why can't they save lifes!! |
