But if he is MIA (missing in action), ...bread winner's family will be without bread
This is in order to discourage deserting and deserters recieving a the salary.
If a soldier is KIA (killed in action)....the bread winner's family is entitled for his salary till his retirement age..as well as a lump sum....
What happens to the dead terrorists families??????? |

SaleemTariq
As regards the killing of the 17 French NGO workers were concerned - that is still open to debate. 'Who were there' in Mutur, at the time of the killing ? .. that is the all important question. If the LTTE had just vacated that location, it is also possible a Muslim gang bent on revenge, killed them.
It is very important to find out, what exactly this French NGO was doing in Mutur .. Were they partial to aiding the Tamil people displaced by the Tsunami ?, Or, were they neutral - treating all displaced persons alike ? These are questions to which answers should be found. The fact that 16 out of 17 were Tamils in this group may indicate a similar concern in aid-giving. In which case they may have been killed by a revenge-seeking mob of Muslims of the area - may have nothing to do with the SLA.
The 'slow-going' of the SL Govt Enquiry could like-wise be inspired by local (Muslim) leaders, who do not want the true facts to emerge. The style of killing points to either the LTTE, or a local group bent on revenge. Do not believe SLA had anything to do with it. Edited By - SenaM - 12 Oct 2006 11:24:06 GMT |

SLA killed the 15 Muslim civilians in the schools.
SLA killed 17 aidworkers in Mutur.
STF killed 11 Muslim workers at Pottuvil, Ampara.
Saleemtariq,
LTTE beat all the records by ordering 100000 muslims out of Jaffna in 24 hours...Nothing comes close to that buddy..
How many of them died since the exodus, your guess is good as mine?

Here is my two long term solution for Tamils
1) get married to Sinhalese and enjoy the benefits of SLR
OR
2) bow down to SLR government and live like peaceful citizens.
Have a good day
Lion Talks
The first one is actually a good solution. Can you organize some voluntiers. This will be the best way to keep the country as one. |

LTTE equaliser may pave way for talks
PK Balachandran
Colombo, October 12, 2006
The blunting of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces' offensive in the Muhamalai sector on Wednesday is seen here as an equaliser scored by the LTTE in the war game being played in North East Sri Lanka since April 25.
By stopping the Sri Lankan army's ambitious bid to take Elephant Pass and then Pooneryn, and inflicting heavy casualties in the process, the LTTE has avenged the defeats it suffered in the Muhamalai-Kayts sector in Jaffna, and in Maavil Aaru, Mutur East and Sampur in Trincomalee district in the East.

GOSL is a banned terrorist organization in Tamil Eelam
I think Daya master knows why he came from Tamil Ealam to GOSL terrorist organization to rescue his own life, with his wife.
Together will be the best,..
seperatism?... going to fail further both sides. |
