Tigeres , i agree with you. talks was imposed by IC , because their patience is running out, both have their own theory and own plans. and IC know for sure both not going to happen.
its is someway warning 2.
this time government will come for talks and agree to somethinga nd then receive their cheque from international community and then forget about implementing.
if that continue government will have another final chance.
same time EU will tighten -removed- on LTTE fund raising ,arm smuggling just to get the result on talks and push LTTE into talk.
if nothing changes then UN will be invited. |

Tigeress19,
As usual you just exhibit your ignorance about the politics of South.
I am not surprised. You do not know even about the politics of North, so I cannot expect you to know about South.
Anybody from South, who knows the status of the tricky relationships between (a) Govt. and Norway and (b) Govt. and JVP at this juncture will realize that why cannot JVP display an effigy of Hanssen-Bauer right now.
Yes, they have burned an effigy of Peter Harold in 2004. But then the relationship between Govt. and JVP was not the same.
I know it would be too much for an LTTE brainwashed kid to understand.
FYI, even LTTE had a very little understanding about the politics in South. That is why they foolishly backed Mahinda Rajapakse in the Presidential Election. |

Ajan as usual ,totally agreed.
It is the same LTTE that puts thoughts to the minds of both.
So if they take out those notes and compare there should be a hundred percent match.
I would have been very surprised if there were not a perfect match. |

yes ,you have to insert the tamils boycott at the last election just to
prove your say. don't you? :))
exhibit your ignorant about the politics of south
what have i got to understand from the south politics?
it is the very south politics brought the whole island as a failed state,
a begging nation, human rights abuse next to nothing and no value for
human lives, failed justice system, jumping greedy politicians.
what have i got to learn from those low lives? common shakti uncle,
tell me some thing sensible. tell me how good manmohan or sonia.g or
even tony.b. i will accept.
tamils boycott?
i still stand by it and tamils should continue boycott the sinhala
election until
there is a space in the constitution for the Tamils to practice democracy.
tell me what are the powers of the opposition party at the parliament? nothing.
for the national Q ,there should be a national govt, even the CFA collapsed
because CBK sacked ranil not because ltte violated more than the govt.
at that time there was a national govt. lost oppotunity! Edited By - tigeress19 - 5 Oct 2006 10:44:17 GMT |

Shakti uncle
what ever the out come of the talks this month (win-win or loose-loose)
will there be a PE election soon after?
because I'm guessing, the IC forced both to talk and the govt seems to be celebrating military victories meanwhile upset WITH THE IC. celebrating military victories may BE to win the hearts and minds of the south?
if so, the hardliner wins, may be more changes to the CFA with or without Norway? because the south is not very happy about the CFA? |

Tigress19,
the condition of the IC is 'UNCONDITIONAL TALKS'
hope you understood.
Yes, IC pushed both side for talks, but we are the people those who must get the outcome.
So, we cant always blame the past.
For peace, I trust, this talk, next talk, or the talk after next, will take both sides to the right direction.
Generally, conditions for talks means, stop fighting, open A9, and so on. They are natural and fair for both side to have productive talks.
I read you and Shakthi arguments.
We are Sinhalese, I dont know Shakthi, but, I think he is a very reasonable person to argue with.
Genarally, Tamils Sinhalese have some common grounds to agree, and hard facts to dis-agree. So, please dont go into extremes, soon.
Best. Edited By - sansare - 5 Oct 2006 12:05:35 GMT |
