Personally I think that this effigy depicted Mr. VP. Fortunately, JVP and its 'goons' were too generous to make VP very young as this. Good one!

Sritharan,

Does this mean IMPERSONALLY you think it is an effigy of Jon Hanssen-Bauer?

JVP and its 'goons' were too generous to make VP very young as this.

Not only they have made Prabha young, but also slim (while the real one is pot bellied) and pinkier.

I am sure Madivadini might have preferred this one more. :-)

A rare instance I agree with Muchalinda.

SHAKTI,

Heh..heh..heh...there are going to be lots of such 'rare' instances in the future Mister. If you are feared of being shamed, and if you don't have any idea to comeback in a different name for a successful fourth time, you have nothing but to agree to us. It is a trend and will soon become a life style for people like you. You are in a process of realizing the harsh realities around you.

If you keep your eyes open, you may find how many ex-peace lovers are now bowing to the current 'limited operation'. After all, peace loving UNP too have recently admitted that recapturing Sampur is a huge win. This is the begining.

Amen!!

Mucha-linda,

I dont have anything to do with UNP, so whatever they say or agree, that does not mean I go with them.

I am old enough to remember the euphoria after capturing Jaffna (and Killinochci too for a short while) in 1996 and Anuruddha Ratwatte giving dates to eliminate LTTE. Capturing Sampur is nothing compared capturing to Jaffna. I was not fooled then and I am not fooled now.

I dont think you have heard Mahatma Gandhi saying 'Whatever gained by violence will be lost before superior violence'

My loyalties are with principles and NOT with individual political parties. I agree with ANYBODY who stands for (a) Market economy (b) UNITED and SECULAR Lanka. I vehemently oppose anybody who does not.

If you think I ever agree with Sinhala racists in suppressing Tamils (or any other minority), you are badly mistaken. UNP may agree with you, but definitely NOT me.

Punnkau is for the consumption of people like you (and may be for UNP), not for me.

Lean, mean white man!

Somawansa:
Even my sister can organize things better than this!

Tilvin:
What did I do wrong?

Somawansa:
I asked for a Prabhakaran's effigy!

Tilvin:
This protest is against the Norwegian peace process. We are carrying a banner that says - 'Hands Off Sri Lanka!', ain't we?

Somawansa:
So?

Tilvin:
Mr. Jon Hanssen-Bauer's effigy would be appropriate here.

Somawansa:
I don't care what you will do. I want a Prabhakaran's effigy, right now!

Tilvin:
Can I make Prabhakaran as a 'lean, mean white man'?

Somawansa:
What is your 'grand plan'?

Tilvin:
Boys, Take off Mr. Jon's cloths! Does anybody know how to make a tiger cab, cyanide capsule and pistol?
