US actually doesn't get involved with the war, they only have to pressurize other nations to ban LTTE and thereby stop the Money Laundering.

The fact of the matter is Millions of dollars are still being pumped to the LTTE. US and others are handicapped.
Can anyone obstruct WILL, and WILL POWER. It's a clear NO! This is the greatest asset behind the Tamil cause.
Just study the vibrant airline business of SL. You may find a clue. Politicians play a double game. Citizens believe the dupery of clever politicians of SL.

Now that the Iraq invasion has been proven a failure, USA is looking for new victims. USA is addicted to war. Hence it sees the Tigers as opposition.
If the USA was genuine about helping Sri Lankans, this could have been done through Tsunami Aid related systems. But that is too 'tame' for the USA which seeks violent ways to show off its work.
