I think it is important 4 everyone in this forum to understand that there ARE certain thamil grievances that have to be addressed by the sinhalease majority today.. The current community has been alienated for too long, the economic development in thamil areas Is not sufficient to promote any cofindence within the community about being treated as equals in the present.. the thamils of SL have a very long history, irrespective of who came first, they have been residing on the island for around 70 generations or more .. this makes them an integral part of the current SL identity .. The way the current SL timeline has progressed, they have to be given the right to choose who leads them in regions where they are the dominant population, within a federal structure .. the current problems will not be solved with a unitary state concept.. the thamil conscience is too strong and there identity too defined for that..

yes this forum has run it's course and i agree with you ,I'm sorry.
i have some points to clarify,
the world seems to be thinking the Tamils have not grieved enough.
in other words many Tamils should die and there is plenty of wishers around including Mic29c and diplomat, infact the diplomat is thrilled about mic29c's post and over the moon.he can see arms and legs in mic29c's post but not a head.what a empty vessel.further more he has heard lots of those info what i have said but he want some thing different like Intel.
so he wants to know about ltte, he can piss off.there is some other ways.??????????????????????????

Ladies,
no need to apologise.
what i meant by it was mig29c's only interest was in aerospace. he probably didnt care for the consequnces. i know a little about what he is talking (obviously not to his level since i'm not in that field) but the point is when ever there is a reply he comes back with avionics.
last friday he posted and went away for the weekend. thread was dead for 2 days. monday morning he comes and bumped the thread up. so dont feed the shark.

I would just like to add a little note to the morbid description elucidated by the young lady (tigeress19).. She describes me as gaining some perverse satisfaction in seeing thamil people suffer ?the world seems to be thinking the Tamils have not grieved enough.
in other words many Tamils should die and there is plenty of wishers around including Mic29c and diplomat?.. sadly I would like to reply to this cheap insult, I have in none of my writings indicated that I wish to see or promote the suffering of the Srilankan Thamils.. please find me extracts where I have spelt this out please???
In addition it appears my hidden agenda is to gather intel on the LTTE .. I do find this hypothesis truly amusing :o)
What I offered in a majority of my posts was a Technical response related to the Aerospace field regarding questions posed to me about the LTTE airforce and their capability.
I refused to get drawn into a debate about the history of SL and its politics because I knew exactly where It would lead .. what I have observed in many posts in this forum is that several individuals when it appears they are losing the factual high round resort to insults as has happened here.. I knew by offering facts about the history of SL from my research many of these discussions would end in insults and abuse leveled at me..
My statement was ?what is unique to the thamil grievances of SL that is not unique to other minorities in other worlds? the truthful fact is nothing .. yes the thamils have suffered recently as a result of the formation of the separatist LTTE movement, I have never denied that.. however if you honestly trace the root of ?SOME- of the grievances outlined from the past, they are not as clear as they are made to appear which is ?the work of Sinhala Buddhist racists?.. The fact of the matter is, the separatist thamil conscience evolved well before independence, and well before any of the said grievances occurred.. the current statement of ?self determination due to oppression? is false because these ?aspirations? were around well before the said ?grievances? occurred and is currently used to hide the story which is potrayed that these ?aspirations? are the result of these ?grievances? .. And on this matter I am prepared to argue with anyone, provided the discussion is factual and civil ..
It appears the majority of my attackers, who happen to be thamil have refused to converse with me purely because they are unable to offer a valid factual counter argument to any of my postings .. And it appears a lot of them are fleeing away without even attempting to offer any evidence to disprove my statements.. It does not matter to me .. I will continue to post on this discussion thread and will converse with anyone who wishes to do so about the military and aerospace aspects and other topics..

The US State Dept has requested the Israeli goverment to loan 4 Ex-IAF Kfir C1/C2 specialized ground attack fighters with Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTRIN) systems to find targets at night or in bad weather, to the SLAF in case full scale hostilites with the LTTE erupt .. These ground attack fighters will allow the SLAF to engage LTTE targets at Night, which has never previously happened..
