If India had acted honestly, they would have solved this problem back in 80's. They failed because they put their own interest in the region as number one. Srilankan singalese want India to involve because they think that India won't do any good to Tamils as they hate LTTE. (Guys..Don't forget there is a state called Tamil Nadu in India)

Keeping India away from this problem would good for both Singalese and Tamils.

Dear Malship,

Sir, Just a humble request for clarification. On what basis do you claim that I am a Yak Jo?

Is it on the basis of the fact that I happen to have a different view point?
Or is it because I am a Sinhalease?
Or is it something to do with my past but chosen vocation?

Not that it matters to me as to what you chose to call me but I thought it is within my right to make an inquiry. You are of course within your rights to ignore this query.

Thank you Sir.

Bulls..t.

India will always be involved in Sri Lanka's conflict. RAW is everywhere in Sri Lanka and Sri lanka can do nothing about it. Many of the paramilitary groups are indirectly controlled by RAW and the GOSL knows it.

India may not go as far as sending troops because it got a bloody nose last time, courtesy of the LTTE.

India likes to dominate Sri Lanka for fear of it falling into the hands of the Americans or the Chinese. Poor Sri Lanka has no choice in the matter whatsoever. If Mahinda gets elected, Indian involvement will increase to counter the influence of the pseudo Marxist JVP.

Dear Malship,

As you may have noticed some of us have been very respectful to the other members from different communities. If someone refers to Tamils with bad comments or vice versa it tells more about the man who makes such comments than about the recipient. The comments you make to your goodself (which I decline to repeat here) are mean spirited. If some one did call you such names it is most disgraceful. I have not seen any such comments directed at you, but if you say so I suppose it must be true. As I said earlier it is not correct and many of us here have condemned such remanrks many a time.

This explains why I queried you as to on what basis you call me Yak Jo. If it was because of a comment I made which is derogatory to the Tamil community I thought I would be able to correct it. Since I do not seem to have made such a comment but your reference to me as a Yak Jo appears to be with no apparent reason but is in good spirit I have no problem with it.

Thank you sir

I wish to know too! What the hell does Yak Jo mean?

Like Lula I also do not think that Malship has intentionally called SK63 Yak Jo to cause insult. An explanation from the horse's mouth is urgently needed to clear this up.
