LADIES and GENTLEMEN:
Last time when I was issued a Character Certificate (on leaving the School), I had to pay Rs. 50/= for that. However, this time I was given that free of charge by my friend ARIYALAI_SB. Further, he has voluntarily undertaken the pain-staking task of SUMMERIZING my perceptions.
For me, ARIYALAI_SB?s last post is nothing more than a self-CONFESSION of an Eelamist Individual after hitting the Brick Wall where most of the Eelamists ended-up (Except Anton Balasingham).
Though his last post carry NO counter substance to the issues I raised (like his opinion about making Ahiguntika Language an Official Language of Sri Lanka to ease any grievances they may have), I still believe he deserves a descent answer for his effort in repeating the same unfounded logic he maintained thorough out this discussion and for devising few more labels (like Intellect, Moderator, Sinhala Buddhist Fundamentalist etc). However, I would not comment on any of the points he summarized since they are nothing more than what he thinks about me, about which no one in this forum cares.
The latest development I can see in his line of thinking is Identifying Tamils as having their own DESIRES and ASPIRATION. In fact, the first person who followed this path is Anton Balasingham, who, in an interview (probably) with BBC in late 90s clearly said Tamils have desires and aspirations. This great Theoretician of our times had to adopt this new path after continuously failing to prove any legitimacy about the Grievances they declared Tamils have.
People are allowed to have their own desires and aspirations. But having a desire and aspiration alone would not justify their acts. For example, Hitler had a desire to make the Germans the most superior race in the world. Idi Amin had the aspiration to kill all the people outside his clan.
So, ladies and gentlemen, people can make desires or aspiration to what ever they want. But who cares. If this is way of thinking is going to work, Maru Sira would have been able to get away from the death penalty simply by claiming that he had a desire to do those crimes. What a logic.

PS: ARIYALAI_SB:
By any chance, if you happened to read this, please do not get panic, but come back with evidences to counter my arguments. People in this forum do not want any Character Certificates about me.
For example, if you think that Tamil language deserve the status of an Official Language in Sri Lanka to ease any grievances (like Endorsing a Statement written in Sinhala by a Tamil), how many other language you reckon should give the same status to ease any possible grievances those communities have.
Or what do you think would happen if Muslims in Sri Lanka develop a desire to have their own homeland in Welveddiththurai.
Good Luck.

I do have mister. But there is no point discussing those arguments with a child who looks at the finger when pointed the Moon.

Dear TiggaLivZinAus,
What is the necessity of knowing who practise it or not?
as long as you practise it and can get the benefit, that is the important thing, not to know who do it or not.
But if you can make others to do it becuase it is for their own benefit, that is important.
If they don't want to do it, just forget it. Don't take unnecessary burdens to your shoulder.
You can offer the help, if they refuse it, it is their problem, not yours.
You continue your happy life without considering the fools unfortunate situation, as far as you tried to help them and they took the decision to stay where they were.
Have a nice day! |

I think mucha is ideologically straight but he ventures outside of his thinking just by quoting and pasting things to prove his point. but the history part is way off at times.
also,
tamilnesan, you have destroyed other conversations on this site. if you are getting some satisfaction in doing this, it's fine. but eventually it will buildup on you. it is always easy to get a cheap kik.

TIGRESS19 (and Others):
My dear, I can understand the feelings and emotions of someone who realized something he/ she believed for ages is WRONG. Therefore, I would not blame you for your last comment.
Accepting publicly the facts I said is upto you though I am NOT expecting anyone to do that here. But I can assume the feelings you (and most others) have at your (thier) sub-concious level(s).
I also do not believe this discussion to go anywhere valuable from here apart from people blaming each other without facts. So, please be aware that I would no longer respond to any posts of the nature of your last post, any more.
Also note that I am NOT afraid of discussing History with anyone here and would continue responding to any posts in this thread as long as they are worth enough to discuss.
All the Best.

So, as a STRAIGHT person, can you point out a single occasion where I ventured a source to Quote and PASTE, that lies outside my line of thinking, PLEASE.
GOOD LUCK.
