Norway blocking Government efforts to corner LTTE

Instead of begging European nion and Noway to corner LTTE the best advise that I can suggest to the Government is to refuse to have direct talks with LTTE and drag some years to remain in power.
If the government follows the steps of late but foolish kadiragamar to ban LTTE in Europe it will be a daytime dream and bring more desaster for the country.
Now LTTE has accepted to meet theGovernment .
What eles the government wants from LTTE,Norway and world communities?
If the sinhalese government is honest in peace ,direct talks should start immediately. But talking with double tongue won't bring any good result for the country.
Otherwise let the UN to decide the final but reasonable solution like in East Trimor of ndonesia. |

Among many other things, the inclinations of LTTE and other Tamil Racists towards NORWAY shows what the real problem in Sri Lanka is, i.e. their hesitation or unwillingness to recognise and accept Sinhala Buddhist culture at its due place in the country.
These people have no problems on how Evangelical-Luthren Christianity has been established as the STATE RELIGION in Norway by its constitution. But when they heard 'The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the state to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14 (1) (e)' they get a SUDDEN MENTAL EPILEPSY.
This is nothing second to their attitude towards Sinhala as the Official Language. They have no problems if English is made the only official language in Sri Lanka irrespective of the fact that majority of Tamils are fluent in Sinhala than in English.

You are 100% correct. The root of the ethinic problem is unwillingness of tamils to accept Sinhalese as majority of the country.
And they brought the myth of discrimination to justify that.
and this ethnic problem will not be solved as long as sinhalese are the majority.
The only solution is to make Sinhalese a minority and Tamils the majority. The problem will be solved automatically. |

good people are gradually becoming racist, because they are realizing the truth.
I am not the same person like yesterday.
The biggest problem with sinhalese is they are not racist as others are. we like peace and love, and democracy is a way of our lives. but in turn these good qualities are going to weaken us and our enemy can destroy us easyly.
so only way to survive is being racist and ruthless. |

Dumindak and Mucha-linda, you are correct, ethnic minority and issue Sinhalese are the majority, real ownership of SL by Sinhalese all these; Tamils are not ready to accept. That is why all these problems!

I believe you did NOT use the words hypocrit, chuvanistic, racist and ruthless in the same sarcastic way PERA used them. If that is the case, I would NOT agree with you. Simply, Mahathir controlled all the possible Tamil Racists elements without becoming Racists.
What we should do is to build a national leaderhip who can provide the political leaderhip to the armed forces, and let them (i.e. armed forces) do the cleaning.
I still believe Tamils are one of the best Races, Sinhalese can ever find on earth to live together.

I m really supprised by the level of patiece of the Sri Lankan public...why aren't they protesting against the idiotic Norway and force the govt to send these SLMM bastards to their own land...
I think its high time all the patriotic movements start a protest campaign against the idiotic norway bastards...and chase them back to their bluddy land...
