Norway blocking Government efforts to corner LTTE

Norwegian facilitators are trying to block all efforts and other plans by the government to corner the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) internationally after the brutal assassination of Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar, authoritative governmental sources told The Island yesterday.
The sources said efforts were underway to get the LTTE banned by the European Union but, the Norwegians are trying hard to block its efforts saying it`s not appropriate and some more time was needed to look into the matter. Sources said the Norwegians were also saying that the investigations into the assassination of Mr. Kadirgamar must continue while trying to review the ceasefire agreement signed between the Government and the LTTE.
Government sources also said that Norwegians want to watch the situation both in Colombo and in Norway specially related to the elections in both countries. An angry official described the Norwegians as been manipulative.
Norwegians have refused to name or place the blame on the LTTE for the slaying of Minister Kadirgamar. Recent surveys have shown that many in Sri Lanka believe that Norwegians facilitators and the Norwegian-led Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission are sympathetic and partial towards the LTTE. Many Democratic Tamil leaders including minister Douglas Devananda, TULF leader V. Anandasangaree and late Lakshman Kadirgamar had questioned the role of Norway.
Earlier, the European Union condemned the assassination of Kadirgamar as a truly vicious terrorist attack. The EU said that the perpetrators must be brought to justice.

This is another dirty propaganda that Island and Upaly Group indulged in rekindling racism that President Truth Commission condemned following the investiagtion of 1983 coomunal riots. Europeian Union will never take any step to ban LTTE or any organisation until proven guilty in the court of law or proved beyond any reasonable doubt. The Island poisons the minds by innuendos and Macarhite type of propagando by inventing sorces of information, that cannot be verified or checked.
The 'democratic' leaders that the Inland quoted in its report are Douglas Devananda who got 66 votes in Colombo, Ananthasangare lost his seat in Jaffna in the last general election and Mr Kadirkamar never contested for reasons the public can easily guess.

Norway and the LTTE are like brothers. The LTTE leadership in Norway has successfully lobbied Norwegian political parties and NGO for two decades and has substantial support from both sides of Norwegian politics. LTTE has been able to sell their story ?sole representative of the Tamils? and their other ideas more or less unopposed in Norway
From time to time Norwegian EPDP and PLOTE members have tried to protest but have been ignored by the Peace facilitators. They are seen as the fifth wheel on the wagon and not listen too.
LTTE has been able to channel Norwegian funds to both to LTTE in Sri Lanka and to several of their Norwegian front organisations. LTTE have also been consulted related to other aid to Sri Lanka. Though the Norwegian help organisation NORAD Sri Lankan journalist and NGO has been ?buttered up? too be pro LTTE and pro Norwegian. Norway is also dangling the Nobel Peace Price in front of the Sri Lankan politicians, a tempting carrot. In 2004 Norway used 50 million US dollar on their foreign aid to Sri Lanka. Among the recipients we find the LTTE, Sinhalese journalist and not to forget the National Peace Council, a true friend of the LTTE and Norway.
The LTTE is controlling the Norwegians and using the Norwegian to give sugar pills to the GOSL representatives. Norway is fixing ?secret? meetings with key individuals in the opposition parties to ensure smooth sailing for the LTTE ideas. Melinda Morogoda has for example travelled to Oslo to have discussions with the ?facilitators? and coincidently he was in India together with the Norwegian delegation.
The LTTE viewed Kadirgamar as a major obstacle for the creation of their fascist terrorist state. The facilitators also were annoyed of Kadirgamar sceptic of the LTTE. Now Kadirgamar have been assassinated by the LTTE and they are now hoping for a more agreeable Sri Lankan Foreign Minister.
I have seen intelligence information of the Norwegian and LTTE infiltration of the Sri Lankan side and it is quite shocking to see the extent of the manipulation. Sad to say there are many Quislings in Sri Lanka selling out the Sri Lankan people for nickels and dimes.
Can a lasting peace be achieved through corruption and manipulation? I think not. |

What the hell are these Norwegians doing in the judicial system of Sri Lanka?
The justice of the GOSL is doing its work to bring to book the killers of the FM Kadirgamar.
The Oslo puppets are a hidden force to arm the wanni terrorists by providing them with valuable equipment to prolong the conflict.
They are the paymasters of the ruthless tigers.
Some intelligent European leaders,like Mr. Blair, have understood the barbaric aims of the VBTs and that the tigers have started training world's other notorious terrorist groups.
The US and some other countries have already banned the tigers as a terrorist organization.
What is the interest of the Oslo govt. to 'protect' this brutal force ? Is the Norwegian opposition turning a blind eye to the activities of the Oslo government. SHAME on the so called western democratic Oslo terrorist supporters!!
It is an open secret that the underworld activities of the Oslo authorities are carried out through the mafia organizations of the ltte...
The GOSL should have thrown out the so-called Oslo brokers or the mediators to have direct talks with 'reasonable' Tamil leaders in Sri Lanka. We would have already achieved a peaceful & united Sri Lanka, by demolishing the terrorist network.
It is a good thing, even at this late stage, that the GOSL has understood that Oslo is a 'useless & unproductive' batch of idiots.
Sri Lanka has intelligent peace-loving Tamil leaders although they are in the hit list of the wanni barbarians.

No matter what Norway does with LTTE, it is our responsibility to stand firm to oppose ANY move by the LTTE until they lay their arms and join the democratic process. LTTE seems to have got more arrogant and defiant ever since Norway got involved. By dealing with them the GOSL gives credence to Norway's role. There is nothing more comforting than seeing the Viking chased by the LTTE when they find there is no use for them eventually.
The key here is to frustrate their efforts. How do we do that, have a good life and get on with our lives, ignore that there is such problems ever exist and don't even bother to acknowledge or discuss these issues here either. |

Thease guys thrive on riding the singhala chauvinism and will not survive too long financially or even physically without doing this.

The LTTE is tempting the Norwegian politicians with their votes. The Tamil Diaspora has more than 10.000 registered voters, most of them in big towns like Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. These could be decisive in these towns. The politicians know this and participate in LTTE meetings and fundraisers. The LTTE front organisations are also getting funds from the Norwegian Local Municipalities.
In this years election the Norwegian LTTE leader Yogarajha Balasingham is running for a Parliament seat for Norway?s largest party, the Labour party. He is allegedly the number 2 leader in Europe after Anton Balasingham.
Norway has become a retirement home for retired LTTE cadres, many of them has participated in terror acts and the genocide in Sri Lanka. Their duties in Norway are primary to extort funds from the Tamil Diaspora, get funds from the Norwegian Government and most importantly get political influence.
They have been able to use the Norwegian diplomatic network to open doors for them World wide. Norway has paid for two trips for the LTTE leadership to Europe and instructed the Norwegian Diplomat force to open high level doors for the LTTE all over Europe. By this LTTE has avoided a terrorist listing in the EU, this enables the LTTE to fundraise legally hundreds of million US dollars every year for their terror. In addition the LTTE is using their Norwegian military contacts to get intelligence information. Madam President has already expelled one Norwegian general (General Tellefsen) from Sri Lanka after it was detected he gave information to the LTTE about SL Navy plans.
This information is not news for the GOSL they know the LTTE is controlling the Norwegians. Colonel Karuna is also aware of this and lost cadres due to the SLMM cooperation with the LTTE.

| We do not need stupid Norway. They always talk to secure the roots of terrorism. Our leaders should have taken our own decisions. Norway pushed the peace agreement not because they like us to help us but to destroy us! We should remember that, Norway grew LTTE more larger. |

JVP is right.
Chase the Norwegians out of this country. We do not need bias mediators. What qualifications they have to be the mediator between GOSL & Terrorist organization like LTTE.
