Karuna group kills five Tigers

Members of the Karuna faction yesterday killed five LTTE cadres in a fierce gun battle, in the uncleared area of Arasaditivu, Kokkadicholai in the Batticaloa district.
It is learnt that the Karuna faction cadres riding motorcycles had attacked a LTTE manned check point. The Tigers had returned fire.
After a severe exchange of gunfire, five Wanni LTTE cadres lay dead and three were seriously injured.
Meanwhile, in Vavuniya on Thursday, at around 7.40 p.m. an unidentified person, suspected to be from the LTTE, had lobbed a grenade at a wine store.
An employee of the store, identified as 23-year-old Ramalingam Jeganathan, was seriously injured in the explosion.
According to reliable sources, the assailant had come to extort money from the wine store and a heated argument erupted after the employee refused to comply.
He had then lobbed a grenade and fled.
The injured man was admitted to the Vavuniya hospital and later transferred to the National Hospital, Colombo as his condition was serious Vavuniya police said.
Vavuniya police is conducting further investigations.

Where was Karuna all these weeks & months, with his men?
He should have reacted sooner than later.
These wanni butchers will now have a new excuse to jeopardize the peace process as they were severely hunted down by the Karuna men!
Never believe in the Avataar's willingness & promises. He is a coward to hide behind all his defeats to put the blame on others. |

Colonel Karuna is scaring Prabakharan. Maybe Karuna has outside friends?! It would not surprise anyone if India would like to see Prabakharan eliminated or apprehended. Maybe the US is feed up of the LTTE training of various terrorist groups?
There will be surprises ahead. Maybe a rocket will go down Prabakharan chimney. Bye Bye. The Tamil people will get their freedom from the evil LTTE dictatorship.

I don't know how true this news is but if it is true, you can certainly expect retaliation from the LTTE with a big bang. LTTE always avenges the murder of its cadres and I bet it will be someone important.
Those Sinhala racists who are crowing about these murders have just stopped crying for late Kadir.You may not have to wait long before you cry again, friends.
I don't know how long the SL military is going to hide behind Karuna, and this shows how cowardly they are. I feel that the SL military have no choice because they are utterly inefficient, corrupt and not able to defeat the small army of the LTTE.
Have fun now guys because it is not going to last long. |

The whole country would have said a big THANK YOU to Karuna if he could eliminate 500 or even 5000 of wanni butcher's murderous, baby frying hounds.
5 thugs are not enough.

Karuna seems to be able to work with other political parties of SRI LANKA. |

Oh yes, when Karuna enters mainstream politics the widows and children of the six hundred policemen he murdered will certainly vote for him. The families of the soldiers he defeated in all the war fronts will also vote for him. That will be more than enough for him to be elected with a thumping majority over all the other candidates.
You are talking through you backside, pal. Karuna will be eliminated when he becomes no longer useful to the SL military. However, Karuna is a very wily character and I would be extremely careful, if I were you. Good luck, anyway. |
