I hope that the lankan people can group together and demand that something be done with these stupid thuggish MP's and their equally idiotic, low-life sons. What a shame this is. Like someone said in civilized society this nonsense is not tolerated. If you commit crimes like all these clowns do everyday you will be punished. Its a shame that nothing can be done to these criminals.

Mr SK63,
Im totally with you. However don't be upset if some 'self appointed' person with multiple personality disorder comes like jack in the box and tells you that you are using 'Sinhala' words in this forum. Keep up with your good work sir.
Cheers

Ok sk63 I agree with you. But we cant classify ALL of the ministers' juniors as birds of the same feather. That's generalising too much. I whole-heartedly agree with you on the fact that MOST of them are spoilt rotten, but not ALL of them deserve to be looked down upon...I'm sure there are children of ministers who would have got themselves a good education, job and done something good in return for SL...

Instead my view here is that it's the political system in SL that fails...it's abuse of power and the upper hand that give them the right to break the rules and get away with it...someone's got to wake up and mar this selfish and greedy attitude for the benefit of all Sri Lankans...here's where Western policy should be accustomed...treat everyone equal no matter how high up one may be in politics or any other area for that matter!

Well done Mr chandra Fernando for the good initiative.
Unfortunately had your men had enough guts to carry it through to the end without bowing to yapping of a ministerial puppy (who should've been caught by the ear and given slap and made to sit it a corner like a kindergarden child .. as we say in sinhalese) it would have sent a really strong message to theses parasites of our society.

I agree that we never heard things like this about children of the 'educated' politicians like Gamini D...etc even Chandrika's kids(to her credit SURPRISINGLY) are extremely well behaved polite level headed kids(and i can vouch for this personally).

Have some courage Mr Chandra Fernando and instruct your men to do the right thing!

Dear colleagues,
The sad thing is that the politicians are encouraging or turning a blind eye to the 'Mafia' style actvities of their children.
When Police officers are trying to enforce law they are ordered to be softly...softly to these high class criminals.
Police must come down hard on these crooks.... may be an Indian style' encounter' for the hardened crims..... or probably they would only exercise this on petty crims, pickpocketters due to the repercussions.

Its sad to see imported prostitutes from Eastern europe, taiwan, etc are flourishing in the oldest trade. Also drugs.... many foreigners 'sudda' are also involved in drugs and prostitution rackets... even those from Intl agencies at high jobs. Its all with high level approval.

Its the trend or the sub culture in colombo's night life. sadly.
