| First of all who issue weapons to politicos sons? Why they need bodyguards? Especially in nightclubs why? This should be banned first. If weapons are issued to politicos and if they are not keeping with them should be arrested first. Anyhow nightclubs are not Temples or Mosques and you will find mostly such kinds only. If you allow your Sons or Daughters to such places you have to pay the price one day and that is the truth. |

Everybody seems to be mislead.
Mervin Silva might have been sworned in as the minister of cultural affairs and entrusted with the cleaning up all night clubs since he had proved his capabilities earlier. HER EXC admitted that she was late to honor him with a ministrial post.
MS took all the trouble to send his son to support the law enforcing officers during the raid like King Kawanthissa.
But Dirty Media Fellows cooked up the story to sling mud at honorable minister.
Law enforcing officers will declare the truth that he and his kith & kin are innocent sooner or later.

Guys,
Listen to the Honorable deputy minister in Sri Lanka.
The politicians in Sri Lanka never tell lies. His son was at home celibrating his 24th Birthday. He may have offered 'Dane' to Maha Sangha, and has released a cow, and has done a lot of merit for his next life.
Ministers' sons are not bad at all.
Anuruddha Rathwaththe's sons were accused of a mass murder. At that time those innocent boys were with their respectable father at home, watching election coverage.
SB and Mahinda Wijesekera's sons were not involved the riot at the hotel. They were having dinner after a long tired study time at Australia. Do you know how hard these guys study ?? .
Don't you dare to accuse these innocent politicians' sons for riots fights and murders. They are innocent as new born babies.
All these stories are to cover the inability to get the responsible people and journalists who make money out of making such stories.
This is not even worth discussing. People know what's going on.... |

Gentlemen,
I know you guys will think I am being a classist, elitist or whatever the terrible names you can come up with in response to this post. I respect your opinion and am prepared to face all frontal assaults. Here we go.
These brats of Mervin, SB, Mahinda, Ratwatte and DM are all some thrada boys who should be studying in Game Iskole without coming to Colombo. There are lots of decent boys from Maha Vidyalayas and other iskoles, who get themselves educated, and get a decent job and do service to SL. Meanwhile, these thradaya third grade godayas ruin the good work done by all those decent boys and girls. These sons of ministers suddenly feel like big shots because their farthers are big shots and think they can take law into their hands.
They should not be allowed into any social place. They should be treated like third class citizens by all their peers, because that is what they exactly are. We were debating about Yvonnes death and it is this sort of moda Rasthiyadukarayas who cause such tragic incidents.
Ignore these third grade thradayas I say. They do not belong to the civilized society. They should be peeling onions in their respective villages or fishing in the lake. Or may be play elle!
I wonder how these thradayas behave in Australia. Do they even know manners! Probably they must be saying ?Mate? every other word and believing that they are now full blooded Australians! Such losers and wannabes!
If this offends any of those idiotic offsprings of corrupt ministers, I take pride in this post.
If this offends any other decent guys, my apologies in advance! |

Dear Muniraj,
I got a little bit pissed with these buggars. Did not mean to sound like a classist, but hate to see thrada men like this taking law into their hands and disrupting others.
I went a bit overboard with my post. Didnt I? Bit embarrassed! |

I cannot remember any insident behind the children of Philip Gunawardana,Gamini Dissanayake, and good politicians of our country.

This is a ridiculous state of affairs. If an incident like this were to happen in any other civilised country the politician concerned would have tendered( or been forced to tender)his resignation at least until a proper inquiry is held and culprits brought to book. What did our honourable Deputy Minister do ? vigorously deny and defend his son.Our politicians of course will never leave their posts even if we try to chase them away by spraying ' Dummala '
Not only that, in our ' Dharmadveepaya ' all those MSD men who drew their guns against their fellow officers can expect to get promotions while those who tried to perform their duty will at least find themselves in another branch of the service probably cleaning cob webs for the rest of their life ( like what happened to the former Head of our Intelligence Service ).
What on earth has happened to our country? Why do we continue to tolerate these corrupt politicians and gracefully continue to cast our vote and nominate them over and over again as our elected representatives?
We Sri Lankans have very short memories ? All the misdeeds of these politicians , be them left, right or centre, are forgotten come election time.
I believe the priority of all peace loving, patriotic Sri Lankans should be to get rid of these corrupt charactors and instead appoint some honest guys to run our country; they need not have years of experience in politics, come from a family with politics in their blood ( on the contray I consider this aspect a point of disqualification , judging by our past and present experience ), be fluent in english etc. but be able to feel the pulse of the masses and do what is best for the majority of the people in this country.
My question is how do we find about 225 specimens with these qualities?. |

SK63's observations are very much correct.
Because of the democracy we cannot stop these poeple becoming MPs. Majority in rural areas are sending their true representatives, real godayas or bayyas.
But why are these people given ministerial powers by the leaders who claim to come from Colombo 7? Doesn't it imply these so called leaders too are not civilized? I am referring to JR, Chandrika and Ranil. |
