Allrounder Nanayakkara stars in Royal`s win

An all round performance of 7 for 25 and 31 by Dilan Nanayakkara steered Royal to a thrilling win over President`s College Rajagiriya in a second round match of the Under 17 division one cricket tournament at Reid Avenue on Monday.
President`s taking first lease of the wicket faced 71 of the 100 overs match to score 153. Royal left with just 27 overs were helped by Charith Fernando who cracked an unbeaten 47 in 23 balls inclusive of three boundaries and three sixes while Dilan Nanayakkara chipping in with a quick-fire 31 in 18 balls with one boundary and two sixes to end the day on 168 for 8.
