SF,
My greatest ( and justifiable) fear is, no matter what we comment here, LTTE will get everything they want, eventually. and then, it will be the end for the sinhalese people living in north/east, and as you have mentioned before,it will make the effort of army officers who sacrificed their lives for this war in wain.
We are talking about a country where there are selfish people/politicians who don't give a damn about the prosperity of the country or the advancement ( economical/political).
The cost of living has rocketed sky high, and UNP will promise people of better times and grab their votes. The sinhalese people too, without thinking about the advancement of their country, fall into the trap ( can't blame them, if we view the problem from their perspective)
Should an election happn, Sinhalese people should vote for a patriotic party |

Religious prosecution does not occur in Sri Lanka as in Saudi and Pakistan. There are many atrocities committed in Indian society among Hindus to women and low cast people never seen in Sri Lanka. It was in Jaffna itself low cast people were ill-treated. If not for the majority Buddhist nation laws Tamils in the north would have done the same as in India. Sri Lanka is not a perfect society, nor USA. So as your Tamil brother correctly said your appeal will end up in the trash. Try again! |

However it is a common fact between the masses that ponn*a ranil is the damn idiotic traitor ever to be live in the Sri Lankan soil...he should be crucified...(though i m really ashamed to say such a thing, as I do not agree on any sort of harm for any living being but considering this idiots past acts regarding batalanda and this CFA thing, i can't understand what better punishment to be given to a traitor of this sort)...
