Colombo responds to LTTE ultimatum

LTTE had earlier requested that its cadres be transported in smaller batches and that Sri Lanka Army personnel be present in each vehicle.

Media Release 11 July 2005
Mr Jayantha Dhanapala, Secretary General of the Secretariat for Coordinating the Peace Process (SCOPP) today handed over to Mr Hagrup Haukland, Head of Mission, Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission, the Government`s response to the LTTE letter regarding the movement of LTTE cadres through Government controlled areas. The LTTE had on 30th June 2005, written to the Head of Mission of SLMM on this matter.
The Government has rejected the LTTE`s accusations of involvement by the security forces in the landmine explosion that took place on 26th June 2005, during a LTTE movement from Kilinochchi to Batticaloa, which was escorted by the army.
The Government has also pointed out that providing of military escort for LTTE`s movements through Government controlled territory is a confidence building measure and not a right under the Ceasefire Agreement.
The Government has conveyed through the SLMM to the LTTE the modalities for such movements of LTTE cadres through Government controlled areas in the letter handed over to the SLMM. It has been explained that providing armed escort for LTTE cadres for one round trip movement per month, from Kilinochchi to Batticaloa and from Kilinochchi to Trincomalee, will be continued under stipulated conditions. Government has requested the SLMM personnel to be present on the buses with the LTTE cadres and SL Army escorts. [Tamilnet]

The ltte or any other terrorist organization has no right to dictate their conditions to a democratically elected government on how to transport prisoners or terrorist guys.
The SLA must be given a free hand to transport them according to the rules of the country and the GOSL must not expect at all, 'confidence building' between them & the tigers.
You can not rely on the tigers as they have never kept to their words or deeds. It's not words that count, but deeds.
If the tigers have a right to penetrate into areas controlled by the GOSL, does the government agent or any other representative has the right to go to the wanni area ?

More than 60,000 Tamils including children and women were NOT killed by LTTE were NOT LTTE. 10,000 homes were destroyed in N&E NOT by LTTE. Genocide! Who was behind it.Democraly elected govts. LTTE train their carders to fight and kill. For you all, It is in your blood. The whole village participated in the Massacre in BIndunuwera. If you get a chance I sure, what you are up to. The whole world knows about this.
If you want or speak democracy have referam in N&E under the supervision of the UN. We dont want Bindunuwera people to decide our fate. |

To solve terrorist problems in a democratic country, some people want to call the UN.
Some others want to hold a referendum to 'decide' ????
When Nationwide elections were held, on so many occasions these wanni tigers killed candidates and intimidated voters. Now the henchmen of the same terrorist bunch demand the 'UN' & 'referendum' !!

LTTE never fought for tamil's rights, they are fighting for separate state,irrespective of how sinhala people treat tamil people.

Ltte top brass is fighting for them and not for the common Tamil. When Avathar's children get their education in the west, he is abducting children, put a necklace of cyanide around the neck and send them to training camps to fight a senseless war.

only 3 days to go...!
after seeing this article i felt like posting a reply with facts about ranil and his true motives from the inside information which i know...
i will reveal factual details in here and those who want to know more or any form of clarification please feel free to ask...
those who want to challange me ... please go ahead...!
months before the 2000 generel election ranil wickramasinghe met in singapore in utter secrecy a well known fron organiser for the ltte in a hotel in singapore...
the mole was identified as one gnnyakone...
behind closed doors they held discussions for hours and days shrouded in secracy...
through the state intelligence agencies the meeting was reported to the govt and the natioanl security council...
the DEI directorate for forigh intelligence after a few months of the meeting through their sources in the ltte and in europe came to know all the content and the subjects of discussion and what was told shockeded the government and the armed forces ...
what that was discussed was the following...
ranil was told by his advicers that he would easily come to power if the votes in the north and the east were some how for him...
as the north and east elections are rigged either by the government or the ltte the strategy of the thinkers was to get sent monitors to areas where the govt could rig it and to get the ltte to help it in to power by rigging the tamil vote using the ltte as a proxy...
with the help of this gentleman in singapore ranil came to an agreement with the ltte...
he promised that uppn coming in to power that he will sign a CFA and that he will give some all that the ltte wants whithin agreeable parameters which we to our horror learned later on was the CFA which is now in force...
ranil had everything well planned well before the election with the ltte...
the peoples allience based on their intelligence reports came all out against the unp as you may recall sayng that there was a hiddel deal which it was party to with the ltte.
the unp leader rejected this notion and stated that this was mud !
one would recall all the posters thet came up in colombo about this calling it ali -koti hora giwisuma...
but to the shcok of all sri lankans he out of the blues signed a CFA which any clild would understand takes years and months to make in that detail whithin days of coming to office...in 2001...
the horror is that no ordinary person in the country even knew that this was going to be...!
all was done behind closed doors even hidden to his own cabinet , with the ltte...
so why does ranil need the votes and the supprt of the ltte...?
1. ranil knows that he does not stand a bettr or good chance in the south sri lanka...
people dont trust him...
2. if the military balence is swung in favour of the ltte which means that the PA is unpopuler with its war management this will invariably aid him to get the protest vote...
( this explains why the traitor unpers drank champange and had late night jubilation when elephant pass fell...!)
3. i invite all those who would take care to analyse what the margine of defeat was for ranil in the 1999 presidential election...
4. ranil under this agreement agreed to stenthen the ltte...
the reasons were two...
a. to drive to the minds of the people in the south that we have to at any cost settle with the ltte as they are way too strong to be beaten...
b. when the ltte is made strong and the military weak the balence will anyway shift...
so the people will self realise and soildgers will back out...
5. also last BUT NOT LEAST MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL...if the unp can get the 7 lakhs tamil votes rigged with the help of the ltte it will win irrespective of the votes in the south ,as its anyway devided bitterly...
(for those who suspect this claim...please check the difference of votes between ranil and chandrika in 1999 presidential elections...!)
so the rule of the game is ............
i give you elam or elam in some other name...! ill strenthen you as much as i could to break the will of the people...!
you give me the votes...! you give me the power...!
co-existence at its best...
with all the hidden agendas in place ranil formed the govt in 2000
they say jokingly...
ranil signed the CFA dictated by prabhakaren typed by Antoan balasinghem with a pen gifted by norway!
ranil betrayed the military to the ltte...
dont get me wrong i dont find fault with the man for siging the CFA what the fault is what he has in it as its content...the CFA was a good thing to end the blood shed...but...
the content...
especially he allowed ltte military intelligence to infiltrate the city...
he betrayed the renger LRRP...he was not to be heard when the ltte started murdering military people, epdp cadres , tamil civilians in the streets of colombo...
he allowed the trinco habour to be seiged...
and not did he utter a word against the ltte...
ltte started even grabing weapons from police officers in colombo in broad day light...! this was unprecidented...!
such was his idea of defense management under the hidden deal he had with the ltte...
ranil has hidden agendas which only he and the ltte along with some of his associates know...!
his master plan back fired in 2002...!
now it has come to the fore that it was a unp paper editor who has helped murder col.muthalif...
this has been the unp traitor barbaric strategy of the unp right through out...
the unp should worsip the sinhalese people in perticuler for it is the only nation in the world with such patriots which allowes traitors to parade the streets with impunity...!
if you found traitors parading streets in somewhere like israel...or even palastaine...
one would only imagine what the consequences would be...!
please be prepared to give the ltte what it dint get from 20 years of war overnight if this man is to become president...! |
