I do not want to comment on this. But for the time being I would write:
People who harvested Thala beans will pluck Thala.
People who grow Mung Beans will enjoy Mung.
Unfortunately some have no option other than eating Thala because it has been grown by force in their lands.
- Muchalinda
PS: I am sorry to say this in a situation like this. My heart goes for all the victims and their relatives. I am not inhumane and I hate Al-Qaeda, but my brain refuses to forget the past.
PS2: People will understand what Charles Darwin said. |

They should say 'Barbarism has made us all Sri Lankans'
London bombed only one day, but LTTE bombing us for last 20 years.
London lost only 52 people, we lost more than 70,000.
All these happened while metally sick Balasingam is in the guest list of UK government |

I know one thing of Charles Darvin, that is 'evolution'theory. In Sinhala we learnt that as PARINAMA WADAYA' He said everything has a life cycle and you can predict what will happen next based on what happened yesterday. That means if you do something you have to take the consequance also. and The man came from the monkey through evolution.
This theory is similar to Buddhas some teaching in Dhammapadaya
I cannt remember the script, but he said if you do something good or bad it will follow you same like the shadow which goes with the person.
If somebody, knows better, can throw some light on this. |

DumindaK,
macho, don't put me in to that grade buddy...i m very well aware of the theory of evolution...what i was curious about is what muchalinda said...and its link to this article...
Cos Charles Darwin has done many other researches apart from the evolution...so thats what i was referring to...and i don't think that Muchalinda was referring to evolution...cos in Charles D 's theory he has talked much about adopting to the environment ...but i do not see any linking to this article...
but any how thanks for trying to enlighten me...
take care ...

Yes it is the same thing, I put that because I want to make a relationship of Buddhism to the modern science. It is similar to evolution theory. |

No body so far really saw that man came from monky. everything is based on assumption and relationship only. when there is a relationship that means it is true.
what you say about the relationship of Buddhism and Hindunism is correct. But apart from that Buddhism has relationship to many others like science, western culture, sociology etc. what Buddha preaced is now visible every where and really practised by many people not knowing all these were seen by Buddha 2500 years ago. |
