WOW...I can't believe some of you and the comments you have posted here. You can blame the International schools, western culture, and night clubs all you want but the main main source of blame should be pointed towards Samantha. He is the one that killed a woman! How on earth does clubbing and western culture advocate killing anyway?!
And let's be honest here...no matter how strict your parents are you're still going to turn out to be the person that you want to be in the end. And I'm confused. What constitutes as 'an adult' according to Sri Lankan standards now? I thought it was 18...some say it's 21.
Regardless of that...to all of you parents out there...you might as well give it up because you WILL NOT HAVE CONTROL over your kids forever (atleast not after they turn 18 and/or start going to college)and if you keep trying to control them then they are soon going to start to resent you. So basically quit pointing blame in the wrong direction and just realize that unfortunately there are evil people in this world...and yes that includes Sri Lanka too. |
