OhPlease:

The criminal was expelled from the school long time back and the deceased and her sister changed schools one year ago. It is not fair to blame the schools discipline policies.

OH-PLEASE, I dont have to dig old wounds but take a look at your sentence for your own clarity.

You said:
***Who is the managing -the -CIS?

So it's not me who needs English lessons, it's definitely you. no offense but I was pointing this out so that you know I dont need English lessons.

You said:
***You answered my post which you need not have if you didn't have anything positive to say.

Answers to your comments arent always going to be positive. You have to be prepared for criticism...world is a stage where you might get thrown rotten tomatoes at...but you have to be prepared to accept them and then throw back what you have. It's healthy to learn from others even if it's negative feedback.

You said:
***Unfortunately you were unable to understand my innocent question and gave a sarcastic remark which was not needed.

I very well understoodyourquestion...that's why I said oh please! How can you blame an entire school for one rotten apple? It's like blaming the whole of Sri Lanka because of Prabakran?? That's where you got it wrong! It's not the school's or the management's fault. U have to appreciate sarcasm and take it lightly. I didnt ask you to shutup like you asked me to, did I? now that's rude!

You said:
***My question is quite relevant to the current
discussion.

It sure is...I didnt say it wasnt. Only that your suggested solution wasnt feasible.

You said:
***I merely wondered if the school could have done anything to prevent such a tragedy. Maybe take a stronger view on discipline.

My personal answer would be NO, the school cant do anything about it. It wasnt at a school function where the tragedy happened, neither did the school ask them to go to a nighclub/get drunk/take drugs whatever, neither did the school teach Sharmantha to be so selfish and behave as a pathetic excuse of a human being. It's the money, perhaps the spoilt up-bringing or even a lonely childhood growing up without enough love. The rage gave in ultimately.

Hi

There is no point arguing ourselves...and this is not the place for that...goto another news group for that...

we are talking about the Yvonne's Johnsson's murder and how we can avoid such things not happened again in Sri Lanka..We have to save our young lives living in Sri Lanka...

Try to do something for the community without arguing !!

Also there is no point blaming the CIS and it's administration about this murder...

I stated:
-The school that the murderer went to must do something. r -they doing something about it? Who is the managing the -CIS? They should do something about this because more -students might cause trouble later

you stated:
I could only say 'OH PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSE!' to you mate.

(SARCASTIC UNNECESSARY REMARK)

I stated:
Keshi

Oh Pleasssssssssssssssssse shut your crap up. I asked a question and if you couldnt understand it to provide a decent answer please dont bother answering with irrational crap.

You stated:
I could only say 'OH PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSE!' to you mate. And I still say OH PLEASE to you cos you sound like one paranoid idiot with useless piece of a comment - nothing you said above fits as a possible solution to the problem - it's pretty dumb btw.
Asking me to shut up won't make you smart my friend. I could understand what you asked earlier - it was plain stupid andyourEnglish sucks big time - so you can't really expect anyone to understand you anyways :) My answer was decent btw - look at how you answered me back by using shut up? lol! Don't worry you wont get any answer to your pretty dumb question - as you can see only I answered you so far feeling sorry foryourpathetic state.

(I didn?t ask you to ?shut up?. I asked you to shut your crap which is to stop talking nonsense and stop being sarcastic like stating ?Oh pleasssssssse to you?
You don?t need to stop talking just talk sense.)

(?Pathetic state? ?Dumb? ?Sucks? ?paranoid idiot? ?stupid?? well done on the usage of crap.)

You have an English language complex. If you take out the accidentally mistyped word ?'the' before managing, the rest of the sentence is fine. Your English is pretty bad chum: ?cos you sound like one paranoid idiot with useless piece of a comment?? You?ve also got your tenses mixed up but that is for your English teacher to correct not for me to state. I really don?t care. Let me also add that I am in fact British, I went to CIS and I jolly well know my own language wee lad!

Annonymous 2: I thank you for your reply. This is the kind of rational answer I was looking for and I appreciate the point you made. I never intended to blame the school only just wondered about the matter of discipline and if this tragedy could have been stopped by intervention at a young age of school life. I have noted what you said which is perfectly logical. Thanks

GODAYA thanks for that but we are still talking about the question posed by OHPLEASE which is very much related to Yvonne's case although it's not a logical suggestion. People need to realise that blaming schools for an individual's fault isnt the most viable way to look at this. Did anyone even look up which school Osama Bin Laden went to? duhh!

OHPLEASE whatever you say you can take it back. You may be British born or whatever, but your English is still shocking. Me being fully Sri Lankan, being pretty good at verbal/written English and having achieved 2 degrees at a foreign Uni should consider it as quite an achievement compared to you then? Maybe you should learn some Sinhalese/Tamil and argue with me about my language skills - then you'd be in a good place to criticise anyone at all based on language fluency.

MRANONYMOUS SAID:
****The criminal was expelled from the school long time back and the deceased and her sister changed schools one year ago. It is not fair to blame the schools discipline policies.****
OHPLEASE he's merely stating facts here that you were blissfully unaware of and politely trying to make you realise that your suggestion doesnt make sense at all. Whereas all I said was 'Oh Please' to you and BANGGG you lost your cool :)

Dont always look for rational answers when you yourself ask irrational questions...you are supremely limited to your own 4 walls and that's quite clear by your own 'irrational' suggestion for your own school! And it seems you cant handle criticism/sarcasm which is quite sad. You embrace people who say sweet words to you 'cause that makes you feel your suggestions are rational, yet they're not. 'shut the crap up' is very much equivalent to 'shut up', worse I could say. Just becuase you put the word 'crap' in between it doesnt make you any better.

Good luck to you and I rest my case here with due respect to the late Ms.Yvonne Johansson.

Keshi,

I am not going to repeat myself. I already outlined the English mistakes in your postings. If you cant see these then it proves how dumb you are. You dont need to say anything about your English fluency, those who read your post will see how sadly you have bashed the language. I am not talking about Sinhala and Tamil. Dont go blabbering irrational crap again. Your missing the point.Your fluency in English will always be excellent in your eyes since you can see no better. I am not British born. I am British. There is a difference. What can I say...I like polite people who make sense.

MRANNONYMOUS2 did not agree with me (It certainly would be boring if everyone agreed with me) but he/she gave an appropriate answer that helped me understand the situation. I merely appreciated his/her decent way of handling the question I asked which was purely innocent and not intended to offend or blame anyone. You on the other hand provided no explanation and started losing your marbles immediately. Providing sarcastic answers for no reason shows your lack of language skills. Maybe you find it difficult to express yourself without being sarcastic.

I am not saying that shut your ?crap? is better or worse than ?shut up?. I used the word ?crap? to state a point which you just didnt get. You cant seem to stop talking crap. Also you babbled something about Osama Bin Laden and his previous school not being talked about. There is plenty of talk about his early education and training. Catch up on the news and don?t flaunt your ignorance.

You may have gone to some 'crap' university somewhere but your statements show very poor English and very poor manners and a very heavy inferiority complex. If you think my English is bad...that's fine by me chum, your opinion is worth less than the size of an ant?s knee cap! :o)

Does anyone know what is happening in Yvonne's murder case currently? After the 1st August hearing nothing much has been said. Was the suspect released on bail?

WOW - is it me or have things got personal yet again?

I would like to address Ohplease's valid point regarding discipline in schools. Whilst this is in no way an attack on international schools or an accusation that Shramantha's attack was caused by lax discipline, i have to say that whilst many schools, both local and international, have rules about frequenting nightclubs and consuming alcohol, they are not often enforced. There is nothing wrong with going to a nightclub, but if you ae under age then there is nothing wrong with a school banning its students from going to a nightclub either.

If this was properly enforced then it would be a check on parents who may be a bit lax with their children. Both schools and parents have a hand in influencing how a child shapes up. If a school does not tolerate behaviour that brings disrepute on the school, when IN SCHOOL, AT SCHOOL FUNCTIONS OR IN PUBLIC then we can at least avoid or minimise situations where children could be exposed various social ills.

I want to stress again that there is nothing wrong with adults going out to a night club and enjoying a drink or a dance or whatever. But its not a place for children. In fact it is illegal for anyone underage to enter a nightclub. So whilst CIS is in no way to blame for Shramantha's actions, all schools should be aware that turning a blind eye to their students behaviour after hours will not help either.

and Kural - i think you may be a bit confused about the facts surrounding this murder.
