And kankun - like i've told you several times, we all know your battle field victories and no one is trying to take credit away from your goons......but the point is, do you only know about your battle field victories or do you know ours too?
in a conventional war and in my own opinion, the SLA has a clear cut advantage but if resorting to the art of hit and run mastered by your comrades........hmmmmmmm....now that might be a bit of a different story!
and one more thing kankun, in defence of our brave men and women who fought for us.....your comrades were sent in with all guns blazing but our boys werent.

Sill living in the 80's I see.. it's ok you only have about a decade and a half of catching up to do.. hit and run, and guerrilla warfare were the norms in the 80's and maybe even in the early 90's.. but all of the 'Unceasing waves' operations were conventional.. Don't believe me? Go ask the SLA men stationed in Jaffna and Palali, yeah the same ones who managed to escape from EP, kilali and pallai, not to forget Kilinochchi.. LOL. by the way a federal solution will not divide the country it will just ensure that the two communities tamil and sinhalese can live in their respective homelands without fear and discrimination. |

| Do you realise that the north east is 85% tamil. how come it's okay for you to claim the whole of sri lanka with a majority of 74% whereas we cant claim the north east if it is a majority of 85%. y cant you see that before the foreigners came we had our own kingdoms (jaffna and kotte etc), so that we could live with both our unique identities and cultures in peace. |

The reason why LTTE is not defeated yet is simply the fact that they operate in a terrain that is rather similar to Vietnam. Anyone who?s IQ is higher than an eight year old should know what Vietnam War is and how even the United States couldn?t hold an upper hand there. That, combined with LTTE cadres? (much like the Iraqi insurgents ? fighting an ?invasion?) determination from a psychological point of view that they are too fighting ?invaders? and the inadequate and half-hearted attempt of SLA soldiers, dragged the war to two decades and put the growth of the country into a standstill.
People should look further than their own window. Dividing the country in any way is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Federalism is the only way and the people who are opposed to Federalism, like those JVP goons and their redneck (if that?s the word you can use in SL , hehe) village idiot supporters, simply DON?T UNDERSTAND what it is. And if you?re on the other side of the story and want to divide the country, then I have two letters for you : FU.
For the people who died in this senseless war?s sake take a good look at the Indian system of Federalism. That country consists of different people, different cultures different languages and different identity, yet when you ask for their nationality they?d say ?I?m Indian?. Not Gujarati , not Malayali , not Tamil ..just Indian.
And how did they achieve this form of unity between different groups people? By giving them autonomy in their OWN places. Is India divided? Hell no. This is what federalism people.
In the middle of all this Chandrika is trying to put on a stunt of her own. She?s planning to throw out a referendum on Federalism without educating the people about what it really is. Tamils are sceptical about it because they think that any form of Federalism would be much like that failed North-Eastern Provincial Council in the late 80?s with the central government controlling much of it. Now, the JVP thugs and their uneducated narrow-minded supporters, as some of you are, revealed by your brainless comments on this forum, will obviously reject it on the basis that it ?divides? the country. Morons.
The President should start a campaign on educating people about a new system of government, not only in Colombo but elsewhere as well. Only then she can find a way to solve this problem her mommy and daddy started a long time ago. But then she?s occupied so much to secure the billions from donors and start her campaign to stay in power. I don?t think it?d happen.
Some of you people amuse me. I noticed that someone wanted to wipe out a group of citizens and the other wanted to carpet bomb them. People, this is what we call ethnic cleansing and if you truly want that sh*t you should go see psychiatrist for real and maybe even start going to school.
