I dont see much opposition in SL (apart from Mangala Samaraweera expressing concerns). I thought this would lead to sea erosion (which the country can not afford).
I will keep you posted if I see anything new. |

Let's hope the LTTE gets Jayalalitha also. After all she was a part of the crazy outfit that once supported all these maniacs. Now she takes a different line, only because it is politically expedient to do so.
It would be fun to watch the fall out, if a suicide wallah creams her fat-ass. |

Again guys, we don?t believe this new article abt Jayalalitha until such times when TAMIL NET publishes the same. Coz we all know its only TAMILNET who tells ONLY the truth (According to LTTE TERRORISTS) and all the other sources are in vain. --- Whom to say abt this pathetic situ---??? Hehe very funny.
Some guys talk abt 15,000 LTTE TERRORISTS vs 150,000 SLA. Again really funny. When SLA kills LTTE TERRORISTS, the victims become just TAMIL citizens. But the truth is, these so called Tamil citizens were carrying deadly weapons. Just think, if you keep your bloody total 15,000 ??rag-a-tag-boys-made-men rebels?? (Or whatever figure it is) in one end and keep SLA 150,000 in the other end, what will happen???? Is it funny??? You LTTE TERRORISTS then will have no chance even to think what to do. Just hiding in jungles and in bunkers & carrying guns & ruling forcibly & killing your own kind, how you guys make yourself as sole reps of Tamil ppl???? In fact that is really funny & very pathetic level for Tamil citizens.
Though you ppl speak or use English in a good level, do you think your state of being before as ?Kallathonis? & ?Sakkilis?? are going to change??? You never belong to this land.
In 83, I had mentioned in very old post to your one of Tamil friends Oracle, that we were protecting few tamil families in our own house even with a bit risk to our life. I was a kid but still I remember how we helped tamil families to be protected. We know there are many Tamil ppl who do not have facilities to discuss in cyber forums like this, so don?t think you guys (having refugee asylums in abroad) are the only Tamil ppl representing the entire Tamil community in SL. |

| Sunawij.. no matter how unacceptable the truth may seem to u, it's not gonna change.. the SLA out numbers the Tigers more than 10 to 1 but they still managed to kick ur butt repeatedly, everyone knows we have inferior weaponry and lacked air power (so far).. but still managed to defeat those sad bunch in the SLA.. LTTE terrorists hide among Tamil Civilians and use Tamils as human shields, that being the main reason for SL Forces not being able to wipe out the LTTE.
There are checks and balances in SL forces, so they can't go ethnic cleansing like LTTE does. (LTTE engages in ethnic cleasning. Those who kill unarmed civlians are honoured by the LTTE)
A serpent(LTTE) hides in a large pile of straws(Tamil civilians). Althogh many brave men(SL Forces comprised of Tamils, Muslims and Sinhalese) try to locate the hiding serpent(LTTE), it is not easy.
This doesn't mean the coward hiding serpent(LTTE) is more powerful than those bravemen. It's just that their unwillingness to set fire on the whole pile of straws that makes the serpent survive. |

Kanthun; You missed the most important aspect of success in any competitive environment. Intelligence and courage can get you killed, but when coupled with commitment, you have a winning combination.
Commitment is what differentiates those who make things happen, from those who watch things happen or wonder what happened...and in that aspect the LTTE has outclassed the SL forces or the governments we have seen so far.
Teach your kids commitment and they'll be winners all the way. If you also teach them how to balance that commitment with the ability to differentiate between right and wrong, then they'll become great people. |

What we need is compromise and co-existence Not some JVP village idiots who spread extreme nationalism like those narrow-minded backwards Muslim terrorists or political gainers like Karunanithy spreading false propaganda to distort and over exaggerate the REAL problem.
