If LTTE can kill Rajvi Gandhi and Ranasinghe Premadasa what is holding them back?
It is not time for India to execute the warrant and extradite those wanted for murder of Rajvi Gandhi
Capital punishment has not been carried out in Indian for some while,
Should there be exceptions to the rule?
Many have died a harrowing death. Most killed by LTTE.
Law makers talk about it but do nothing to solve the problem at the root cause
I suppose it is a way to reduce population growth? |

First, To those who actually believe that there is freedom and liberty in SL.. I guess you haven't been to SL in a very long time, the only freedom we have is to speak what is politically correct, if someone speaks or writes anything even remotely politically incorrect (as in against the GOSL) he/she will meet their maker instantly.. as is evident from the number of Tamil journalists killed, beaten or jailed by the forces of GOSL.. Secondly those who post in this forum are not residing in SL, with the possible exception of one or two, the majority live abroad in REAL democratic nations, with all the rights and freedoms to safely express their opinions and beliefs without the threat of death..
Secondly, To those who advocate that persons who lack proficiency in English should vacate this forum, first take a look at ur own English.. looking at the uncivilized, and degrading (not to mention in bad taste) language you use, ur not fit to write in any forum! Let alone an English one which the world views. If you love speaking trash speak alone, pls don't share it with us.
Third, To those who seem to think the events of BlackJuly where over 6000 innocent Tamils died is funny, that just shows the demented and psychotic state of ur mind.. A day won't be too far the likes of you get what you deserve.. until then keep and crowing.
Finally, No matter what you believe and the bravado you speak, the fact remains an army of more than 150,000 valiant SLA fighters with their mighty air force and their celebrated Navy fleet could not for over 22years defeat an army of just 15,000 rag-a-tag-boys-made-men rebels.. not to mention they hold more than 2-3 of the Northeast. |

A quick query and a bit out of the topic. What is your view about Sethasundaram project? How does it affect Tamil people?
I am asking this project because I have no idea about the real nature of the project. Basically will it cause Sri Lankan shores to go under water? |

| Hi sk63.. my knowledge about that project is limited as well.. but from what i know.. there are both benefits and costs involved (as always).. the costs are basically marine life will be affected in a negative way, the underwater currents may also get affected (even though a minor concern), the Tamils fishing community/industry will definitely be affected negatively (major concern), the LTTE will be affected negatively (especially our sea operations, but the LTTE always find a way to USE it for their benefit)and the benefit is it saves a lot on fuel.. and I think that alone is enough to go through with the project (considering fossil fuel is most expensive, and really really bad for the environment).... But there should be a growing concern about oil leaks, it is very common and if and when it happens our waters are going to be really affected. (Imagine dead fish all over, and our beaches will be polluted by it too).. But like i said there are probably a lot more concerns that I'm missing. |
