It is unfortunate that LTTE started again killing people attending religious ceremonies. Earlier they killed Sinhalese (at Srimaha bhodiya, Dalada maligaya) and Muslims (at mosques). Major part of Batticaloa is under LTTE and without their knowledge it is difficult to operate other elements like Karuna's group or military forces. MP Pararajasingham voiced according to LTTE in the parliament but he respected democracy in the country. LTTE will not admit killing of Pararajasingmam as they did earlier. They may try to put the blame on others (EPDP, EPRLF or Govt forces or JHU).
Now a large component of Tamils are living with Sinhalese and Muslims in south and only innocent Tamils and rebels are living in North and East.
We must condemn these types of killings whether they have done by LTTE or any other forces.

LTTE going bersek & out of control of the Tamil Exptriates who fund them & the Co Chairs in whose countries they have taken refuge?

Have we had not enough of brutal killings since the prabakaran's speech ?

At this present rate, only the LTTE will remain in the so called Tamil areas as rest of the people will be RIP.

So much for civilisation............

Dear Saliya,
People like you always maintaining major part of Batticalao is under control of Karuna. But now after the killing of JP you people are saying that the Major part of the Batticalo is controlled by LTTE. Which is true?
Do you know the old saying that the 'Saliya poll gannaththang ammadda.... the ganna' (Moratuwa debate)
Do you know another thing, some Tamils believes that most of the hard core Sinhalese rasist are belong to the Sinhalese of recent Tamil origin namely S, K, D

Another Tamil politician is killed by the LTTE. His 'crime' was to encourage Tamils to use their democratic right to vote. Needless to say this outspoken TNA member did provocateur the LTTE fascist leadership. Once again the World is witness to the LTTE cannibalism, where the hardliners kill the soft liners.

The murder of Mr. Pararajasingham did take place in a church. Previously the LTTE has murdered in Mosques, Hindu and Buddhist temples. Prabakaran signals to the Tamils that they should not have any other Gods than him, The Son of the Sun, The great Saviour of the Tamils and their sole representative.

The Tamil Diaspora is collecting funds for the struggling Tamils in Sri Lanka. Money intended to the invalids and Tsunami victims is used for arms, kidnapping of children and murder of prominent Tamils.

Lately we have seen the many cowardly attacks against the Sri Lankan Army and Navy. The LTTE is doing their utmost to start a new war and sacrifice another generations of Tamil children. For what? - To for fill a mad mans sick dream of a fascist state?

How many wakeup calls must the Tamil Diaspora have before they stop supporting the LTTE terrorist?

How many coffins with murdered Tamils must be carried to the Norwegian Embassy before the Norwegians stop their LTTE funding and act as an international door opener for the terrorists?

The LTTE view the Norwegians as unbiassed facillitators. GOSL's chief beggar, President Rajapakse, view the Norwegians deep pockets as a honey pot which is willing to sacrifice an unlimited number of SLA soldiers, so he and his friends can get his share of the Norwegian oil money. The LTTE victims view the Norwegians as an obstacle for peace and a some go as far as viewing the Norwegians as military targets, responsible for financing the deaths of their relatives and murdered comrades.

My question is why when a crime is commited , every sinhalas (without exceptions) accuse LTTE ?

It's not a right thinking....

Vinivida,

Sure guy every LTTE supporters support terror.

And every Sinhalas who support SLA criminals support peace and selfdetermination for us....

Every LTTE supporters want kill our Tamil politicans and every Sinhalas want protect them.

Every LTTE supporters are terrorists, and Sinhalas are perfect humans.

Every LTTE supporters want not peace, but war, and all Sinhalas want not war, but they want protect every Tamils...

Gentlemans, this ethnocentric people will never accept that we want freedom like them !

5)SLA attacks on Jaffna protesters justified, says Fonseka

A 'third force' in Jaffna is using peaceful demonstrations to instigate violence and therefore Sri Lanka Army (SLA) had to take defensive action, said Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka, the Sri Lanka Army commander, justifying the recent attacks by the SLA soldiers on unarmed protesters in Jaffna, during a meeting between SL President Mahinda Rajapakse and TNA parliamentarians Wednesday at Temple trees, TNA sources said. Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers Tuesday 3.30 p.m. attacked group of more than one hundred auto-rickshaw drivers and their vehicles who had assembled in Jaffna town in a protest by the Auto-Owners Union in support of a colleague injured by the SLA Monday, sources in Jaffna said. Hundreds of students who gathered in front the university building have launched a protest setting up road-blocks. Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission officials have rushed to the site to diffuse tension. The University administration has condemned the conduct of the SLA soldiers, who entered the university premises on Tuesday for the first time since 1995.

Sri Lanka Army troopers opened fire at a peaceful demonstration march by Jaffna University students and staff, wounding at least seven demonstrators including Prof. N. Perinpanathan, a Senior Lecturer, and a student leader of the medical faculty T. Kandeepan. Professor C. Mohanadas, the Vice Chancellor of the Jaffna University, Prof. R. Sivchandran, Dean of Arts, and S. Kajendran, Jaffna MP were severely beaten by the soliders. The demonstration march from Jaffna University towards the Sri Lankan Monitoring Mission (SLMM) did not proceed beyond Parameswara Junction where the troopers began firing at the demontrators around 11:00 a.m. Monday. Tension prevails in the area.

9)Tharsini raped before murder- Medical Report

Ilayathamby Tharshini (20), whose body was recovered from an abandoned well in Punguduthivu Saturday, was brutally raped before being strangled to death, according to postmortem examination conducted in the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. Dr.Balasubramaniam, Judicial Medical Officer, who conducted the postmortem examination later handed over the medical report to the Kayts Police.
