The GOSL has no fear to fight the LTTE, if the latter comes into open. Accept the fact that LTTE cowards just hit, run and hide. GOSL is bending backwards to protect ordinary Tamils from LTTE. That's why they are supporting the government.
I am also toying with the idea of whether to create a better lie generating machine than the old one you are using! |

Thanks for asking. I am not Mr. Know All but I have analysed, have an opinion on this conflict.
In a nutshell, in the late 1970's Sri Lanka was on a road to economic boom and was ahead of India in many fields. They wanted to Sri Lanka to slow down and not become too big for its boots.
The expetise of RAW was used to plant the communal hatred in the the minds of Tamil scapegoats, who were promised a ride to Ealaam dreamland and offerred all facilities to wage an armed conflict.
The rest is history.
Living in Colombo, visited north and east, and closely associated with many top ranking Tamil SLA military personnel in the 1970s, I do not see or believe that Tamils were or are discriminated in anyway. |

All Tamils Not Equals LTTE
It's True.... I thinks majority of tamils wants to live peacefuly with all the other people in Sri Lanka. That's what majority of Sinhalese also want. We both did some mistakes. Now it's high time to understand it and correct them. It's goverment's responsibility to get tamils out from LTTE prison. Tamils are the people who get more harm from LTTE. Mr.Pararajasingham, Mr.Amirthalingam, Mr.Thiruchelwam, Ms.Sarojini... There are lot more examples. Come on Tamil friends... It's time for us to be united and build our country....

Vinidia I was one of those child soldiers you speak of, I joined voluntarily, in anger intially for those relatives brutally killed by SLA...
