some other news reports say , MR did not steal money. He was trying to use that money for a project in Hambanthota. Even at that time CBK undercutting MR, that was the only avenue left.
Becos' just before CBK left she transferred 75 crores to different useless progects including one NGO's project to which she is a member.

If it is so, why did he go to the supreme court to stop the CID investigations into the allegation. The payments already made do not reflect anything to do with Hamabantota. He could have opened an official account, why a private account?
Its still not too late to allow the investigations to be ordered to be completed. He being the Prez can take a high moral ground and come out clean, if he is.
Someone can say all politicians are like that; so is he. Why hide? |

Now that the election is over, he can, like a clean man he is claiming to be, order the investigation to be re-opened.
If he does and come clean, belive it or not, I will become a Mahinda supporter immediately.

Kulakottan, Quite correct. It's basically a compulsory invitation to Thonda to support MR. If he does it shows what a rogue Thonda is and also would show and confirm that MR too is willing to accomodate rogues just for the sake of power disregarding civilised principles of value. Sri Lanka a land of the rogues, ruled by the rogues for the rogues!
